I donated, but it said I will be getting the cup and not the sunscreen. Meh…whatever, still happy I donated.

Just an FYI for anyone who hasn’t used this sunscreen before…I used it on my son who has mild eczema and he had a major reaction. I thought based on the Babyganics brand it would have mild ingredients, but it doesn’t. After learning the hard way, I look for titanium dioxide and zinc oxide as the active ingredients. Just wanted to share just in case it might help someone.

I avoid food and skin care products with endocrine disrupting properties for health reasons. I am very fair skinned. The only sunscreens that I will use are those with titanium dioxide and/or zinc oxide. All the other SPF chemicals approved in the USA end up adding estrogen to your body. That’s not good for children or adults, males or females. So this is another reason to look elsewhere for sunscreen.

This should work out great! I have 2 kiddos in daycare and was just notified that we needed to bring a tube/bottle of sunscreen for each kid.

  7. Queen Mum

I use this sunscreen on my little ones and love it. They have very sensitive skin with eczema and this is one of two brands that does not cause a reaction. It also has a good rating on EWG skin deep 🙂

  8. carnini31

my girls both have sensitive skin, with one of them this is the only sunscreen that doesn’t break her all out.

  9. Rebe

Thank you Collin. It has good reviews on Amazon and if it supports such a great cause, I am sold! 🙂

    • nicolegammeter

      You’re welcome, Rebe! 🙂

If any of you are concerned about the ingredients in products like I am, check out the EWG website and search for whatever product you’re interested in. This one is rated a 2 (0-2 means low hazard concern, 3-6 are moderate, 7-10 are dangerous)

These are $8 each at target. I think the retail price is inflated but still a good deal because it helps buy the 3 mosquito nets!
