Check out this email I received recently from reader Lisa –

Just wanted to share what I saved my Pinecone survey points for: a Tiffany necklace! It arrived yesterday directly from Tiffany & Co…I think I redeemed my points for it about two weeks ago. I love it! I wouldn’t be able to justify purchasing such a lovely necklace if it wasn’t for Pinecone surveys πŸ˜€ [/h2s_box]

I lovelovelove Pinecone! I’ve already earned $22, and it’s only been a month. Every little bit helps when you’re planning a wedding! πŸ™‚

      Congrats, Kristyn! πŸ™‚

          You are so welcome! πŸ˜€

I love it too! So easy and I love the extra cash! I have only gotten to sample a few things but I like seeing the new products that are in the works!

  3. Ann

I agree I love Pinecone also. I only recently got accepted. Their surveys are short and you get paid well. A great company with great customer service.

  4. Michelle

I’ve been with Pinecone for a couple years and once you start doing more surveys they also send you free items to test. I’ve received some great items over the years to try before they are on the market and then you get paid to take the follow up survey! It’s pretty nice. Another great one for free stuff is ExpoTV. They have you do short videos instead of surveys. You build points toward gift cards. It’s legit!

said there are no available spots right now from my application πŸ™

Every time I try, They don’t have a place for me. Not sure what is needed in particular to get selected as a panel member.

    • Brey

Same here. Didn’t know you needed to have certain qualifications to take surveys

      • lyn96

They have demographics that they need to fill. Just be honest when you fill out the application.

  8. cece

I have applied many many times and never get in. Whats the secret?

    • lyn96

No secret. Just be honest when filling out the application and if you are what they need you should be able to get in. It’s not like CrowdTap where everyone gets in at any time.

    • xochitl perez

Same happens to me. I have applied numerous times and I’m never the right demographic. I am completely honest with my age, race everything. Guess they don’t like 23 year Olds lol

I filled out all the info and it brought me to a login page.? How do I know if I’m accepted?

    • shopper

      From the form:

Your registration may or may not be accepted by PineCone Research. Upon receipt of your information, we will contact you regarding the outcome of the sign up process.

I just started with them a few months ago – I know I must be missing something, but I don’t know how to check my account for “cash” I may have received. What do I need to do to see if I have enough money to “cash in”? Do so many points equal a certain amount of cash? I do I then request the cash payout? I just can’t seem to figure that part out? Any suggestions would be appreciated? I’ve done surveys and even tested a product so I know I must have something in my account! Thank you in advance for any help! πŸ™‚

    • Emily

Hi Tammy, points do equal cash. 100 points equal $1. When you go to redeem points, if you hunt around, there’s a cash out option. It goes right into my Paypal account. You earn nothing for the household questions (but those qualify you for paid surveys) and you earn 300 points for each paid survey. Sometimes, they’ll send you a product to try. They overnight it and it arrives at my house in the morning, they don’t tell you that it is coming. You get some time to try it and then you have to take another survey at the end. I’ve tested body wash, soda, noodles, a microwavable meal, yogurt and a few other items. I love when I get those!

      • Tammy

Thank you Emily! That helped out a lot! I will search around for the cash out option! Once I get home I’m going to look at see how many points I have! I haven’t gotten a survey in awhile it seems now that I think about it! I did get a product to test out and it was fun! Thanks so much for your help! πŸ™‚

    Just signed up, thanks!

I’ve tried to get in several times over several years when Hip2Save has posted about Pinecone and was never accepted, until today! To the people who couldn’t get in I say keep trying. πŸ™‚

Love this site! I have $174 in my account and it’s nice that every survey you get in your email you qualify for and you get $3 (300 points) and don’t have to go through half the survey just to see that you don’t qualify. I get a few surveys a week πŸ™‚

  14. michelle m.

You ‘think’ you redeemed your points for it? I don’t get it. Did you or didn’t you?

  15. Nicole

perhaps she was remarking about how quickly she received her reward… obviously she redeemed the points for the reward

  16. linda

I only got to try one or two products right after I signed up. Nothing since… and I only get 2 surveys a month. What am I doing wrong??? How are people getting to try so much stuff and getting lots of surveys? Can you please help?

    • Stacey

Somewhere in your profile there’s a place to select how many surveys you want to receive. Your on the default. Look around for this option and change to how many and often you would like to receive them. HTH

  17. Megan

I got accepted last night! The only thing is my husband said this sounds too good to be true. Any opinions?
