Thanks. Shipping for me (Illinois) was about $4 too.

Likely 3 months for the rebate to arrive..and watch them as they farm out their rebates to myrebate dot com. Good deal if you get the rebate.

Interesting – I’ve done one rebate with them and found the process really easy and timely. I consider timely 4-6 weeks for most rebates. I could do everything online, print my form and mail it in. They event sent me an email reminder to mail it since I hadn’t done it right away, but had filled out the form online.

We had a rebate failure with them for some software and we followed the instructions to the letter. Be very careful with Tiger Direct.

My experience with Tiger Direct was the same as Hollie, the only two rebates I have ever had fail. Won’t do it again. Read that there is a possible class action suit under consideration.

Thank you to everyone for their rebates experiences with TigerDirect. I wanted to get a couple of the items, but even a seasoned rebater like me does not want to work with a company that obviously does not want to send the rebate check. In the past, I ran into this with an office supply chain (not Staples).

I’ve had mixed results with rebates with them. Also when they offered cash back on rebate % back sites has been hit or miss. Once or twice they have sent the wrong item and then had to resend the order causing the original order to be canceled and loosing the ck rebate. They have “lost” our order before resulting in the same fate. As for their own rebates the one time it actually did go through the process was easy it was $10. In total the amount of ck and rebates through them we have lost is close to $50. We tend to stick with newegg or amazon now.
