Wow, and it’s mainly items us moms with toddlers buy anyways. Thanks!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome! 🙂

    • Jenny

Haha I just came on here to say the exact same thing. Thanks Collin

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        YW! 😉

Thanks. Great deal, all things we use! Where are the market pantry cereals, my target has MP oatmeal but don’t see cereals. Is this normal? Or am I not looking in the right spot?

    • mel

MP cereal is located with the other cereals at my store, right next to the name brand cereal variety.

Love this site and Collin. Don’t want to be negative in any way, but this looks like a lot of work. How much time are you spending to make a small savings? Many of these(similar) items i can found at my local dollar store.

    • Kirsten

If you don’t want to be negative you should keep comments like this to yourself 🙂 Not everyone has a dollar store near them and the total is over 50% off the original purchase price, which seems like a large savings to me. Thanks for all of your hard work Collin!

    • Sue

All of the different dollar stores in my area are a lot more expensive than this scenario.

    • rebecca

but if you could find comparable items & sizes at your dollar store, then 19 items would cost $19, right? so this is a significant savings at $12.17, saving you over 35% from the dollar store. and, not all dollar stores take coupons, so Target has an advantage there.

    • Nick

She didn’t plan this or type it up. She borrowed it from Kerry over @ TotallyTarget. Kerry’s blog is all things Target so of course she would take the time to come up with this for her readers. A blog is not going to be very successful unless you give your readers what they want.

    • Amanda

Its really not much work if you have a target cartwheel account, which is free and only takes a few minutes to add things, and printing coupons isn’t so hard either, its worth the 15 minutes to save that much. Plus not all dollar tree shops have the same stuff and you’d spend more on 19 items at $1 each. This blog is all about saving and every little bit adds up. It may only seem like a smaller savings, but when I add up what I save by doing stuff like this it comes to thousands of dollars a year. Sounds good to me.

      • Amanda

Also, I do think that 15 minutes of a persons time to save $7 or more is worth it, I would love to make $7 for 15 minutes of my time any day, lol.

    • Kathy

Dang. Why not give Mike some encouragement and help? Maybe this is a newbie. Don’t you remember how overwhelming couponing & stacking was until you realized angels like Collin had actually done all the work and all you had to do was follow along? Best of luck to you Mike.

      • Ashley

Ditto, I didn’t think he was being rude. Perhaps he was just trying to figure out if his time was worth the savings.

    • meg

A lot of people making minimum wage and hardly getting by appreciate the stuff that collin posts. It is worth the time and effort to get these savings when to some people it could mean the difference between eating and going hungry. Putting a little effort into saving money is 100% worth it. If the time isn’t worth it to you then just move along. Smh

    • Valerie P.

In writing, yes it looks like alot, but once you have added the items to your cartwheel, and clipped the coupons… This is how simple it really is: Buy the items on the list, when checking out, hand over your clipped coupons, have your cartwheel barcode scanned (on phone or paper if you printed), pay the discounted total, and have a great day!! 🙂

  4. rebecca

when i shop Target, something else that helps get my total down just a little more: use Target Redcard for additional 5% off the total, and use my own bags, which gets a 5 cents credit for each bag used.

    • G

Seriously?! If you bring your own bag to target you get 5 cents per bag?! Wish I had known that… I would’ve been bringing my own bag a long time ago. Thanks!

      • rebecca

G- Albertson’s does the same thing. 5 cents credit per bag when you bring your own 🙂
If you don’t have Albertson’s groceries in your area, i think they are affiliated with Osco- maybe Osco does it, too.

        • G

I don’t have that store. I just have my local grocery store which gives back 10 cents per bag. And 5% cash discount. But now that I know target does it too I’ll be sure to bring my bags when I shop there. Thank you!

        • Cait

Shut the front door! I’m investing in some reusable bags!!

  5. Irene

There’s always that one person, right?

    • meg

      Ha! Exactly!

  6. Gretchen

Thanks for always keeping us updated on the best deals! My Target didn’t have that butter or baking soda, so I had to get a couple more expensive items instead. Buuuut, I used my red card and I had a $5 gift card from a previous sale so still only spent $11! Very pleased!

  7. Amanda m

Was today the last day for this?

  8. Jenny McWeaver

Is the $4 off of $25 coupon still available this morning? I tried to print it this morning, but it’s not coming up. ;(

    • Angi

I do not see it either.

    • angela S.

      I can’t find it either.

  9. Nicole

I was really excited about this but check first. I stared printing off coupons, however, most of them are not available anymore.I At least not when I tried to bring them up. BOOO!!! I still may be able to score good deals on the 3 coupons that did come up, but the big$4 off and cereal coupon is not available.

    • angela S.

I could only find 3 coupons too.

  10. Kris I.

There is a $2.50 off market pantry purchase of $15 or more mobile coupon.
