   Mama’s opinions needed! I was thinking about getting some for our future family. But when shopping for friends babies, I noticed that so many places have the same items cheaper so I’m trying to determine if it’s worth it. I know Babies R Us has so much stuff but do you all get the majority of your baby stuff there or other places like Amazon?

  Personally I get things elsewhere like Ross or TJMaxx where the prices cannot be best. I would buy this gc for wipes when they go on sale at Christmas and diapers, their brand not pampers. You never can have enough wipes or diapers but for other things I would look elsewhere, I hope that helps!

  I know that Babies R Us price matches a lot of competitors, including Buy Buy Baby, Baby Depot, Amazon and others. And you can do this on top of coupons and gift cards. You can search “Babies R Us Price Matching Policy” online to find the information.

  I ad match from Amazon a lot at and other places. But Ya some of the stuff is more expensive. I prefer deals for diapers at target. But I like their end of season clearance 🙂

  I would say it’s worth it. My stroller/car seat for instance was $300. Let’s pretend I bought it with these gift cards- already, u just saved $60 on this stroller. Now let’s figure in a 20% coupon. That will save me another $60. Now, if your willing, apply for a BRU credit card. You get 15% off your first purchase thr day you are approved. Now you have saved an additional $45! (I always only do a partial pay and only charge $1 to my credit card and pay the rest with my debit card). Now that you have only paid about $135 for your $300 stroller, you get $13 back in registry rewards AND some points in toys r us rewards. I was able to pair this with a mail in rebate for an even sweeter deal! Additionally, if you get that credit card, on Thursdays you can use a 20% off coupon and get an additional 10% off if you pay with a credit card (even just a partial pay of a dollar or even a penny). I can snag some pretty good deals doing this so keep an open mind to the extra dollar they charge. Good luck to your growing family.

  It’s possible to shop there if you are careful about comparison shopping. Buy when stuff is on sale, use a coupon, or price match.

  Although coupons are great, they are mainly out now when there are not sales or exclude sales. I buy on Amazon. It ships to your house and it’s the best price especially if you wait on deals. Toys R Us is expensive.

  Do you have a big lots around? i never ever shop there but I saw on their window that they sell serta and Ive been buying them there for the kids. On family & friends day you save 20% and it includes mattresses. – Mom of 3 who’ve all ruined mattresses. lol

  If not, you may have to buy at a club like Sam’s or BJ’s for best pricing. Sam’s refunds your membership within the year if you don’t feel like you’ve got your bang for you buck. 😉
