These are great cloth diapers if anyone is on the fence about them!! They are worth the money!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks for the review! 🙂

is that for one diaper? that seems high!

        • laura

That’s a good price for cloth diapers, especially this brand. You can get some cheaper but Fuzzibunz is a very popular brand. I coupon (obviously) aiming for $.10 a diaper and typically getting that or up to $.15 at the larger sizes. It was still cheaper to cloth diaper. I think I’ve probably spent $300 cloth diapering and disposables ocassionally my daughter through potty training.

Pocket diapers are one of the more expensive cloth options…still a lot cheaper in the long run compared to disposables. Plus if cared for correctly they can resell for at least 50% of retail price.

        • Debbie

It’s not expensive for a good CD!!! Resale value is high with those. I’ve bought them used for 7-10 a piece. So getting them new for this is a steal IMO 😀😀

Great price . All in one cloth diapers are more expensive and run at at $18 plus I have spent $28 just in one . So $10 for a pocket diaper is a deal (:

I have 2 kids (finally finished with diapers) and am trying for #3 and for the first time I’m considering cloth diapers. I’m curious how many diapers you would need to buy to not go crazy doing laundry. How many do you really need to purchase to make it work?

    • Wesley

20-22 is a good amount to start out with but you really want around 30-40 to extend the life of your diapers and not go crazy washing them every morning. We did 15 for first couple of months, then 22 for 3-5 months and just recently purchased 20 more to extend the wash cycles to 2-3 days. It is totally worth it.

    • Becky

I would say figure how many diapers you go through in a day and do laundry every other day. We use disposables at night and I have about 20 cloth diapers. Makes for a good stash and you don’t want to have them sitting in a pail for more than 1-2 days. They start to smell. Laundry every other day isn’t too bad!

I almost wish I had a kid in diapers still, so I could get these! Good price! (I’ve bought several of this brand and most closer to $15 even with discounts.)

I got some a few months ago when Collin posted and am very happy. It takes a bit of trial and error, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not much worse than disposables.

If you want to cloth diaper but are on a tight budget and are handy with a sewing machine there are lots of patterns out there some free some pay to use. You can upcycle old cotton tee-shirts and wool sweaters to make fitteds and covers. If you would prefer all new materials there are fabric co ops that make it cheaper than premade but a bit more than thrifty upcycling. I made PUL fabric covers for the 40ish prefolds we were given and it was something like $3per cover since I made them myself.

Related…I purchased some Kawaii pocket diapers a while ago and really liked them (they were as good as my Bumgenius pockets) for $12 each. I wanted more so I ordered from their site, theluvyourbaby.com, and got 24 pockets with 48 inserts for about $126 due to a Mother’s day sale and 20% off code luvyourbaby20 (total was $136 because I also got 2 for 1 wet bags). That’s about $5.25 a diaper and would have been over $264 on Amazon!

    • Julian

Oh…and shipping was free over $80.

    • diane

Thank you very much! I ordered the premium sampler combo with the 28 diapers for less than half price. I also ordered 10 of the fuzzibunz the other day. I think I’m all set for my cloth diapering journey.

Yes!! I’m due with my first baby in August and I’ve been slowly stashing a variety of cloth diapers, this helps out so much! I wish I knew if this brand would definitely work well for us, i’d buy a dozen. Or two.

  10. Christina

Anyone know if these come with the inserts or if they are separate? And which insert do you recommend for newbies to CD? due with my first in Aug.

    • Stephanie

They go come with one microfiber insert. These will be fine for a newbie. You can buy more inserts so that you can double up for nighttime dipes when your baby gets older and needs more absorbency. They are easy to wash. A bit of sun makes them look like new! Congrats btw! 😊

      • Christina

        Thanks!!
