Is this a good stock up price for Pampers? Seems like Huggies are on sale more often and have better coupons. Just curious….because lately I’ve been able to get Huggies for around $.08-$.10 a diaper. Thanks!

    • rebecca

i personally like to pay around 10 cents/diaper, and i refuse to pay over 20 for any disposable diaper. so this is almost 30 cents per diaper.
i have been lucky that my children have been able to use almost any brand, so i can pay a lot less than this deal, and i would not consider this a stock-up price.
however, if you child has a situation where they can not use generic, or cloth, or has some other situation, and Pampers is the only option, then it seems like an okay sale price for this brand.

Anyone know if the splashers swim diapers ever go on sale? I keep checking, but always are full price at Target and Kroger

    • Carla

I got some on Clearance ($4) at the end of the summer last year at Walmart

I think it’s a pretty good price for Pampers. Huggies are always cheaper but for both of my children they always leaked and I found it better to just pay the extra for better diapers! Luvs are a better cheaper alternative for us than Huggies. The cheapest way per diaper to get Pampers is thru Amazon Mom…I spent a long time doing the research last month and it was cheaper than just Amazon, Walmart, Target, BJ’s, Diapers.com or Babies R Us.

I am glad I’m not the only one with huggies problems. I always buy then because of the coupon stacking, but the leaks are just uncontrollable!

    • smellyann

I agree, for ALL of my children, Huggies always leaked. Every single time I tried them, leak. Ugh. Pampers were worth paying more for.

    • Katie

I agree with the leaking. But they’re super cheap! So we make sure we do Huggies (or target brand) during the day, because the goal is to change him before the leak stage, and always pampers at night. He’s only 9 months old now though, we may switch over to pampers full time as he gets bigger and does more pee less often lol!

    • Pharmchick

Agreed, plus huggies always gave ds a rash.

    • rebecca

for any new moms reading these responses, i have had no leakage problems with Huggies for 3 kids. then one of the kids gets rashes occasionally from Huggies, the other two did not. i have had leaks with Luvs. i have never had a problem with store brands, even at night. one organic kind (that was fairly expensive) gave one of my babies skin problems.
so, your mileage may vary. i really think it depends on how your baby is proportioned, and if they have skin that may be sensitive to an ingredient in one manufacturer’s diapers.
you might have to use trial-and-error to find out what works for you. i have traded diapers with other moms if i found a problem, or if they did.

Just to put in my 2 cents I have used huggies with both my girls with no problems. Pampers were always a leakage problem but my sister loved them so I think it depends on your baby and their body proportions. My girls had very large round bellies and small waists with nice chubby thighs an huggies and Walgreens brand diapers were the only ones that didn’t leak for us

    • Sheila

Try Walgreens Well Beginnings diapers, never a leak not rash, they’re amazing & cheapest out there when on sale BOGO with coupons. Highly recommend!

These Pampers Splashers on Amazon have a $3 clip coupon (at least size 5 did). With subscribe and save, I was able to get them for $5. You all should check it out.

  5. Amber

    Are easy ups included?

  6. Diana

Omg! I did the huggies deal at cvs today! Pd $0.93 total oop after all coupons and $8 ecb’s- and got back $5! So excited!!!! I also got 3 of the hallmark $0.99 cards and got the $3 ecb 🙂 sweet!

  7. Diana

And my target was sold out of the huggies wipes 🙁

  8. Saving Mom

I with both of my kids I used pampers stage 1 & 2 after size 3 I had always licking problems with both so I used hugguies from size 3-6 and then pull ups with no issues. Get them always on sale super cheap @ Cvs $3-3.70 per package

  9. lancy

the cvs ad showed there’s an additional coupon at cvs.com. but it looks like a manufacturer coupon too so i don’t think it will work

  10. Cyndi

I love pampers!!! If I could afford to use pampers all the time I would. This is not a good price though. I stocked up awhile back when they was cheaper. I’m like the most of you I have more huggies diapers in the closest because they seem to go on sale more often and cheaper.
