On the fence? Here are some comments left by readers on the last post:

I bought these the last time they were this same price and I really like them! It is a little tricky sometimes to get the food in (depending what it is) but using a funnel works great. It is like a ziploc zipper on the top and the spout is on the side, but that doesn’t seem to matter to my son (11 months)- he loves them. They go in the dishwasher just fine and I just make sure they are dry inside before putting them away. I haven’t had any problems and have been using them for about a month or so and think they are worth the purchase!

My mother got them for me as a gift. I love them. They are very sturdy, really well constructed and easy to clean. They also dry really fast and are also dishwasher safe. The closure at the top is a heavy duty ziplock type. As far as the spout on the side, my 10 month old and my three year old have no issues using it. I was skeptical about these at first but they work. They are also a bit bigger than the store bought pouches but my boys would go through two of the other store bought ones where these they are happy with just one. 😉 It is a huge money saver. On very busy days with a lot of errand ronning, I will just pour a jar of baby food into one of these pouches for my 10 month old. That make life a bit easier for a mother of four energetic boys. 😉[/h2s_box]

(Thanks, Katie!)

These look super cool. I have a 6 month old, and am making my own baby food now. These will be perfect for when she’s old enough to take things on the road. Thanks!

I bought a pack of these the last time they were on sale. They are ok bc the price is great but I much prefer the little green pouches I have.

The little hands brand is much harder for me seal properly for some reason. I have to go over them at least 5 times to get them fully sealed. The green ones literally take the same effort that a ziploc does so they’re always my first choice out of the cabinet.

I bought these one time and find them extremely hard to clean out. Not with the bother to me.

yes, i have worried about them getting mold down in the seams of the bag inside.
plus, my child just squeezes the food straight out like a volcano when i give him pouch food. i have tried them several times from ages 10 months to 17 months, and he always treats them like a toy. 😛

We use squooshi pouches and like them a lot. Cleans out easily with our bottle brush and straw brush just like their other cups.

What about refrigeration? The store bought pouched food don’t need refrigeration, but these would correct?
