I had my 4th baby 4 months ago. I had tried many carriers and slings over the years- never finding one we liked. Finally got and ergo and we love it!

I absolutely love my Ergo! My son is 16 months and I still use it daily with him both front and back carrying. My husband even loves using it because it’s comfy for everyone. If HIGHLY recommend one.

  7. Elizabeth

I’ve wanted one of these with each of our children, but always thought I could survive without one. Ha! Baby #4 arrived just 8 weeks ago and I was determined to buy one this time around! Just purchased this in the “Pink Chevron” I can’t wait!!!! Thank you so much for posting this!!

    • nicolegammeter

      Congratulations, Elizabeth! πŸ™‚

The baby can face you or frontwards with this one, correct?

    • jen

Baby can only face you. My kids both loved it!

    • Jennifer

The Ergo 360 allows outward facing. I just briefly glanced at the Zulily options but I believe it’s the one for $159. Double check prices elsewhere; I think it’s about the same everywhere and you might be able to get it cheaper with, for example, a Target coupon from your baby registry.

Many communities have babywearing groups with carriers you can try on and check out once you have your baby. Might be worth waiting. I wanted an Ergo so bad with my first; got one while pregnant with my second and found out he hates it! Tried on and decided on a Lillebaby, which has similar functionality to the Ergo 360.

The baby can face you or frontwards with this one, correct?

    • Beth

they cannot face outward (spreads their hips too much). but, don’t let is stop you, we have three kids and use this carrier 0 – 2.5! There’s a great youtube video on “how to make an infant insert” that we liked, and we still use it as a baby backpack for our 2yo!

      • Sarah

The 360 has the option to face forward, not the original.

  10. kp

does the one that is on sale on Zulily come with Infant insert? i dont see that being mentioned anywhere in the description specifically so kinda of confused.

    • Beth

kp, look on Youtube for ‘how to make an ergo baby insert” you just use a blanket and it works great and saves you the cash! πŸ™‚

      • rae

We had to do that since my little one was so big(9lb12oz) I didn’t want spend the money on the new born insert and only use it for a short time. We just used swaddled him in a blanket and it worked. You do have to be careful as the warnings on the carrier state little ones can slip down and out the side… just be mindful of how the carrier is fitting you while baby is in it.

    • Vanessa

None of them come with an infant insert. It has to be purchased separately.

  11. Jamie A.

    This is the BEST carrier!!!!!!

  12. kp

Thanks Beth, but would that be comfortable for the baby , im a first time mom and not very sure with baby stuff πŸ™

  13. Darla

Does this purchase get you free shipping for the weekend then too?

  14. Wren

Man… I wish my baby liked the Ergo! Tried it as an infant (several times) and she started to fuss after just a little while in the front. She will go long stretches in the Bjorn though because she can face outward! She’s 6 mos now- just tried my Ergo again in the front the other day and she instantly started to fuss. Ugh. Any tips?? I’m going to try her in it on my back, but wish she liked the front.

    • Jennifer

Same here! I mentioned in a comment above that we went to a local babywearing group, tried on a few, liked the Lillebaby and ordered one. So far, so good — there is a little more flexibility when facing in, too, so my baby (he’s 5 months and big) tolerates that for a while. Going to work on getting him to nap in it!

Apparently the Ergo spreads their legs a bit wide and there’s a gap between when the infant insert doesn’t work anymore (I never could get the hang of that) and when they are big enough to be comfortable without it. And some babies just don’t like it, ever. You could sell the Ergo and try a mei tai or different structured carrier like Lillebaby, Tula, etc. — there are many awesome ones not as well known as Ergo.

  15. Vanessa

Ahhh I am so excited! This was going to be my mother’s day gift as I just had a baby 1 month ago. I am so happy I saw this before I ordered mine online.

    • nicolegammeter

      Congrats on your baby! πŸ™‚

  16. Sarah

LOVE Ergo! This is an amazing price!

  17. jenny

I asked for a good deal on the ergo and you provided πŸ™‚ thanks so much πŸ™‚

    • nicolegammeter

You are so welcome, jenny! πŸ˜€

  18. Sarah

Thank you! I’ve been on the fence about an ergo for awhile, but couldn’t pass this up! Excited about getting a lot of use out of it this summer with my one year old!

  19. jan

Thank you! I got the brown for $10 more, but im having a boy and my hubby would never want to wear a pink n gray chevron one πŸ™‚ $69.99 is still an awesome deal!

  20. Kate

AMAZING!! I have been wanting one of these so badly but couldn’t justify the price.
