I got these yesterday but didn’t clip the coupon and do S&S b/c it said that they wouldn’t ship (or that I wouldn’t receive them) til the 22nd. Is that typically how S&S works? I need them desperately now, so I went with Prime instead.

You should wait to receive them. I know here they say to wait until it’s shipped but I rather wait till you received them. If you cancel before they ship your order will be canceled and the item won’t ship. I know this because I had to cancel a ss that I made by mistake. Hth
