Yep, me too Cm — I ordered this in JANUARY for my daughter and haven’t seen an issue yet.
Please be aware of this deal…my mom ordered this magazine back in January for my daughter and niece. Neither of the girls have received an issue. The company states the first issue should arrive in 8-12 weeks. Please tell me why it should take that long to process a magazine subscription. My mom is calling as we speak to get her money refunded.
Too funny…I just saw this after talking with Steve from Discount Magazines…800-673-8187… regarding the order I placed back in January. After waiting over 12 weeks, I contacted them in April and was told that the hold up was due to the magazine being published bi-monthly and to look for the magazines I ordered to arrive by May 7th. Well, May 7th came and still no magazines. Steve is again looking into the problem, trying to confirm order with publisher, and given me a 50% discount on order. We’ll see if he can make it happen.
To everyone that ordered earlier in the year, it takes so long because they only publish 4x a year!!!! I contacted them in beginning of may and they told me i should be receiving a summer issue before the middle of june. Be patient! Even the BYOU site says it takes 6weeks processing for new subscriptions, longer if you order from sites like these. Its most likely the processing between the third party finished after they mailed out a spring issue.
You can always email the company! Thats how i found out all of this.
This magazine is wonderful and even though it is only 6 issues, my daughter actually keeps these and reads and re-reads them. Great price for what you are getting, I do wish it was 12 issues but maybe they will move to that as the magazine is quickly getting popular!
