Just to share that this bottle leaks. One time, my son whole bottle of milk leak and my purse got all wet and smelly.

We have the same problem. We just use it for water but my daughter’s lunch was soaked one day.

If you make the bottle “tight” it keeps the ring from leaking but when you snug it up it keeps the rubber ring in place which is attached to the rubber stop leak inside. Cute but not a good design.

I’ve been using them for almost a year now and I’ve only had one leak and that’s because it was way too full and laying on its side. We love these and the thermos version.

I ordered these last time this deal was posted a few weeks ago and so far we like them. They prefer straw cups so that’s mainly all we have. Been using munchkin brand past 3 years and the pressure builds as they drink and liquid starts spilling out of the straw when in upright position. Drives me crazy! These cups haven’t done that so as long as in upright position they don’t leak. I don’t expect any cup to be 100% leak proof. If there is a cup that won’t leak when upside down in a bag please let me know which one!
Also kids love being able to open the lid with a push of a button! The flip lids on other cups are too hard for them to open so I am always having to do it for them.

The contigo autospout has never leaked. I sat it upside down and on its side for days to test it before a trip to Disney world. Been a year and still not a single drop. My kids use them everyday in school lunches.

The playtex coolster tumbler does not leak either! My son has to sleep with his sippy of water and we have found this to be the only one that doesn’t leak!

      • Renee

        Awesome thanks!

  4. Jamie

Love these! Bought four of them the last time they had the sale. Only ever leaked when the lid was open and it was on it’s side.. super easy to drink from (unlike a lot of the other straw cups). Love!

    Do these have phthalates?

  7. Faith

Up to how old are these appropriate for? Any thoughts?

    • Jamie

My almost 5 year old loves it!

    • Kathryn Meyer

My 6 year old uses these in her lunch box for water. They aren’t really a sippy cup but more like a small sports/water bottle with a straw.

  8. misty

just fyi – there is a class action lawsuit on these as well because they tend to leak. You can do a search if was purchased previously for a new cup

  9. AW

Does anyone know how hard they have to suck on these straws to get a drink? My 18 month old can’t get anything out of the munchkin cups even though they say easy sip, but has no problem drinking from a regular straw.

    • Sabrina

My 2 year old sips easily from it.

    • Kathryn Meyer

This does not have the pressure valve like the Munchkin brand does. She shouldn’t have a problem with this one.

    • Jordan

My son is 14 months and drinks out of the one we have for my daughter just fine. However because it’s a free flow he is able to dump water out of it if he pleases. So I have to watch him with it.

I ordered these last time it as posted, and so disappointed. They both leak. By the time i get home from somewhere, my baby has spilt all the water on herself by turning it upside down and shaking it. Not leak proof at all.

  11. Erica

We’ve had these for four years and never had a leak.
