I love their cotton bikini cut undies , but even with gentle washing, they tend to have holes and fabric become thin in less than 6 mos.
I was wondering if only my undies get holes when I washed…but I guess is the quality of the material.
I feel like the elastic wears out very quickly too.
Same here. I’ve had better luck with target’s brand. 6/$18 or $20 from time to time. I also got some cute Olsen boyz? (Mary kate & Ashley) at JCPenney that have held up better. I remember when i first started buying VS undies in the ’90’s the feel of the cotton was so soft and lasted for years. Now I’m lucky if they make it through a few washes without the elastic coming apart or little holes forming!
Same! I only buy undies from aerie now. About the same price, but they last forever!
I have found that the Heather gRey and black hold up well. Idk why. The prints and other colors seem thinner and wear out more quickly. I have a few black and gray pairs that have lwasted me over two years now, when the others I bought with them have long since fallen apart.
Weird. I feel like I get tired of the pattern before they wear out:) Most of mine last well over a year before getting holes, elastic wearing out, etc.

Totally agree on the current quality of their panty fabric. I have some from years ago that still are amazing. Ones I have bought within the last 2 years have holes, runs or the elastic is going already. Sad.
I recommend getting the Victoria’s Secret brand opposed to the Pink brand, although not as many cute colors they still have sexy ones that last wayyyy longer.

Let me start by saying that I know a lot of people will get mad by what I’m about to say but I’m going to say it anyways. You shouldn’t keep your underwear for “years” no matter what cycle use clean them in or what detergent you use. Underwear, bras and even socks should be replaced about every year.
its not really a matter of uncleanliness but rather elastic wearing out and losing shape along with thinning material… replacing your bras (for the best support) is a lot more important than socks and underwear as long as they’re still in ok shape! 🙂 but who can resist all the cute panties and socks they have anyway

I agree and don’t expect them to last for multiple years anyways, but lately these underpants have been ripping after only a couple wears. I hate that I’m spending $ to feel cute/sexy in my undies, only to look trashy a couple weeks later. Boo VS. BOO.
