  Its actually final cost $1.98 – just $0.99 EACH — I think the final cost $7.98 the 7 is a typo and it should read $1.98 for both body washes (making it 99 cents each one) 🙂

  I’m working on a scenario… in addition to deals producing the ECB, I use these coupons to buy newspapers for the coupon inserts, especially on weeks like this with RP, SS and P&G!
  Also, I have other magic coupon machine Q’s to use….
  **Speed Stick gear buy 2 gb $4: if ~$5.50 x 2 = $11 -30% = $7.70 – $4 (2x $2 mq) = $3.70… I have a $1.50 off $4 deodorant = $2.20 oop gb $4 ecb

  **Physicians Formula spend $12 gb $8… my weekly ad on cvs.com says I can do this deal 3 times… the $5 off $15 makeup Q from last week is still good today, so I’ll be doing this: buy 2 PF totaling >$15 – 30% = $10.5 – $5 ($5 off $15 makeup) = $5.50 oof gb $16 ecb

  **Nivea buy 2 gb $5: if ~$5 x 2 = $10 -30% = $7 – $3 ($3 off 2 mq) = $4 oop gb $5 ecb

  **CVS Dental items spend $12 gb $4; there are lots of good items to get with this deal…
  look on the my weekly ad list.. I like their interdental brushes…
  spending ~ $15- 30%= $10.5 – $5 off $15 CVS dental floss = $5.50 oop gb $4 ecb

  In this scenario, I’ll be spending ~$ 17.20 oop (or likely using previously obtained ECB)
  and getting back $29 ECBs

  Just a head up, but % offers calculate after any true CVS $/$$ coupon offers. If you look at the $/$$ coupon offer, next to the UPC code, it will either be blank or say MFR. If it says MFR, it usually doesn’t affect the % off. If it doesn’t say anything, then it’ll ring as a CVS Coupon, and you have to deduct the $/$$ from the subtotal, then calculate the % off.
  If the deo offer is blank, less $1.50 from $11, making the % calculate on $9.50, which now takes off $2.85 (vs $3.30 you calculated), making your OOP $2.65.
  CVS Dental will ring as a store coupon, so % will be based on $10 vs $15, making the % off $3 instead of $4.50.

  I used one on Sally Hansen Nail deal last week and it calculated before … bought 5 at $3.19 and it took $4.79 off the total, plus the $5/$15 and the mnfct Qs

  The $5/$15 Cosmetics is ringing up as a CVS MANUF coupon, which does not affect % off calculations. Only the true CVS Store coupons, will the % be calculated after the $/$$ has been deducted.

  Yes. The scenario takes into account using the $2/1 coupon 4 times – as most coupons have a limit of 4. But to get the cash card just using pampers, you need 4, otherwise it won’t trigger the cash card.

   On the cvs app I used to be able to see (on my phone) how many more scripts I needed to get to 10 to get a $5 ecb or see how much more I needed to spend to get to the $50 for the $5 beauty bucks. Now all I see are the qpons available to me. Anyone have a tip on where I can find that info? Thanks in advance 🙂

  It’s an ECB Coupon to receive the $10 Cash Card. Last year, the cashiers at my store were scanning it as a regular ECB (ie it was taking $10 off the transaction), but this year they were told they have to convert it to a cash card.

  You’ll probably still be able to use it but if you’d rather have the gift card you can just go back and tell them to give you the gift card rather than the ecb. Show them the ad that says you’re suppose to get a gift card.

  Some cashiers are totally oblivious to what’s going!! When I tore the bottom off for the cashier to do the CashCard last wk, she at first told me I need to buy something. I had to explain that its a coupon for a money card, then she was like Oooohhh. It’s a shame the lack of training they get, when customers know more than they do.

  Terry, a cash card is like a gift card (at least that’s my understanding). If so, it should not be like an ecb. You should be able to use it on several purchases and it should deduct the amount each time. It should show the amount remaining at the bottom of your receipt. Hope I’m right lol 😇

  You can use it like an ECB or turn it in for a gift card. If I am using it immediately I don’t waste their time turning it into a gift card. If I am not buying anything right away I exchange it for a gift card because it doesn’t expire and you can use any amount up to the $10 in a transaction. You don’t have to use the entire amount at once.

    Physician formula is limit of 3….I have 7.00 off 22.00 cvs coupon. If I buy 24.00 in one transaction will I get back two 8.00 Ecb or does it have to be in separate transactions?

    Thank you so much!!! I got a sample of shea moisture baby shampoo and body wash for my daughter (from pinch me box, thank you for that too!), and it is the first shampoo that makes my daughter’s hair all fluffy and at the same time glossy without being limp and lifeless-looking. I wanted to buy her the shampoo but I wasn’t sure if I can fit an expensive shampoo in the budget, especially having a stockpile of johnson’s and suave’s, well….today is like my birthday, not only a coupon but buy one get one free? Heading to cvs tomorrow! thank you so much for this page !!!

  I got the Shea Moisture 10in1 Superfruit sample in the Target beauty box and wow, I love the way it makes my hair feel. So soft & shiney! Shampoo & conditioner are things I get for free/cheap, but it’s like they’ll be $5 each. I might even get the bodywash and burn down some bucks. Plus the full priced ones will track towards the beauty club and I’m about $15 away.

  OMG, same here RinkRat! I was wondering why my total was higher than I calculated, cashier verified all my q’s went through. Then the ECB didn’t print, so she had to force it. Get home, look over the receipt and thought maybe she didn’t scan one of the Nivea, bc scanning over it, only saw $5.49 once, but my eye landed on the $8 and I was like WTF, I know I didn’t buy anything for $8!! Welp,, it was the Men’s Sensitive Nivea (white bottle) I was like wow, that’s a huge price increase, and of course it was the only thing I didn’t price verify before heading to ck out. The men’s blue nivea was labeled $4.99, but scanned $5.49. Gotta make a trip tomorrow to get that straightened out.

  Mel, same happened to me. $8.00 was the price for a two pack set they took apart and put on shelf. There is a sticker with 2 pack code over the original upc code. Hope this helps…

  Yeah, cashier realized what the problem was when I went to the store for a price difference today. The DM happened to be in, and I felt reallly bad, he started fussing at the cashier as I was walking out, saying really loudly too ‘instructions say to remove the sticker UPCs when breaking down the shrink-wrapped packs’. Yikes!

    I am new to cvs shopping. I have 10 extracare bucks that expire today. I wanted to purchase 3 arm and hammer detergents for 2.99 each and apply my bucks. The bucks did not apply to my transaction. Anybody knows why? What can I use my bucks on? TIA.

  Very few stores allow that. None of mine have but i have heard of some doing it in the past. It’s best to grab a pack of gum or cheap candy bar to get you over the minimum subtotal when you go to use extra bucks like that.

  I would call cs and ask them to resend them to your card. It takes about 48 hours and they will print at the redbox if you scan your card or enter your phone number, or at the bottom of your receipt if you make a purchase. Going forward I would print your CVS email coupons and not send them to your card. Print Sunday to extend the expiration date into the next week. My store takes all form of expired CVS coupons, beauty bucks and extra care bucks. I have a pile of expired email coupons and CVS coupons from the red box and receipts I pair them with rain checks which never expire and wait for a high value coupon. I used to send the email coupons to my card but would lose them if I didn’t use them. And since my store now takes them expired I print.

  If it was loaded to your card, then it will disappear from your acct tomorrow. There’s no way to “make change” on an ECB, you have to use it all at once. And like PP said, you need $10 before taxes, though if you are a few cents off sometimes the amount will auto-deduct down (like I’ve use a $4 ECB on a $3.98 purchase and the ecb reduced to $3.98. I don’t like loosing pennies, but I’ll do it every once in a while). This was more than $1, and likely the cashier couldn’t push it through b/c the min hadn’t been met. Was the $10 from a beauty reward? That can be resent if you call CS on Mon.

  CS usually will re-issue expired ecbs if u call and ask. Also, I would print your bucks (if possible) instead of sending them to your card because my store and another that i know of, takes any expired ecbs. Otherwise if u send them to your card, they are gone (unless CS will re-issue it for u).

  No in Houston tx , no cvs will do early activation as per District managers, I just saw this customer in a cvs Houston, tx with Nivea and pampers on her basket .she asked the manager to give her a sales paper , manager said no because, we don’t activate the sale . And she kept begging for the sale paper, manager told her you can buy the stuff but, if it doesn’t generate the bucks don’t ask ! Finally she scanned stuff and stuff wasn’t activated! She just pushed the basket and left everything there! Now , Pasadena tx friends have said they activate sales over in that area but, myself to be sure scan items first

  One of the cashiers are a CVS on the nw part of town told me they activate on Saturdays at 4pm. I’ve never gotten a chance to actually go on Saturday evenings though, so can’t confirm.

  YES! The cash card is rolling wk to wk!! It’s a limit of (at least) 15 for the month, I believe it ends 6/20. Items I purchased last night tracked towards the GC deal running wk of 5/31. Amount towards was like $74.xx (I got 2 cash cards last wk), bought 6 puffs @ $0.99 last night and $5.94 was added onto the $74. I’m $9.xx away from my next cash card.

    The cash card won’t roll because, there is so many different items through the weeks ! It’s only tracking through the week in case you can do more items during the week! The limit is 15 through 6/20 but different things if you max the limit through let’s say 2 weeks! You won’t had reach limit / if you started this weeks and need 10 to finish then try to finish the 30 dlrs .

  Actually, it IS tracking. I bought 6 puffs tonight and it tracked towards what I had purchased this wk. I am still $10 away, but wanted to buy the Puffs tonight b/c the $1.50/3 coupon expires. So yeah, it is 15 for the duration of the promo, but we don’t have to worry about losing out if we don’t finish the cash card for wk 1, the amount carries towards the next wk.

    Today I went to buy L’oreal mascara priced at $8.29. CVS cashier told they have to accept manf. coupon first & then cvs coupon so u can’t use $5 off $15 CVS coupon.

  i had the same prob at my CVS on Friday. I asked her to scan the cvs q first then manu to get the deal. she gave me a song and dance and I asked to void the trans and do it over. she pushed the q through. then she wouldn’t honor the sally Hansen q’s. they were a total bust and threw off my entire order….cvs is a problem child for me.

  Limit one is referring to the cash card deal (but that’s incorrect, its actually 15 for the month), not the pampers sale price. The only thing that has a limit for the cash card is the soda. Since its not an ecb deal, you can actually get the sale price buying up to 4 per transaction.

    I did 4 pampers 4 pampers wipes and 1 bounty 9.99, 1 suavitel 1.99 ,and 2 secret deodorant with CRT”S , got a 1 Colgate with CRT and 4 garnier shampoos with CRT and 4/1 cupons using manuf cupons and CRTs for pampers and bounty and deodorant and CRT suavitel paid 49 plus tax got a $20 for cash card ! Said I need it 21.98 for another cash card but for some reason Pantene it’s not regenerating the cash card ! By buying 9 has anyone else having this issue?

  Did your purchases track with last week’s total? Or did it start fresh? I read another site that said they had 2 trackings for the cash card. My purchases for Puff’s last night tracked with last week’s cash card.

  Yes! Mel is tracking I had bought last week some stuff and it’s says 98.00dlrs amount needed 21.98 so, I bough 12 Pantene for the limit on cupons and it didn’t generate the gift card! Receipt says need 21.98 again ! Pantene not tracking !! So, I’m choosing to do pampers and bounty maybe dawn

    I just did the 4 pampers diapers deal and it did not track at all on the receipt for the cash card. Very odd considering it’s right there on the front page of the ad. The manager had no problem putting it through to give me the cash card but just a little bummed the extra $5.xx didn’t track towards the next $30 as I’m seeing people are saying the limit isn’t 1, but actually 15 for the month. Be careful to check your receipts before leaving, couponers!

  Lady in front of me this morning this morning told the cashier the same thing about the pampers but she bought the wrong packages. I guess they need to be jumbo packages not regular size. It was a long mess for them to sort out.

  The ones I bought were an exact match to the ad so there shouldn’t have been an issue. I think it’s a problem with the system bc the manager checked the ad and my purchases and didn’t even think twice about giving me the cash card since it qualified. Just weird that it didn’t track at all

  I bought 4 Pantene stylers for $16 and they did not track for me either. I showed the cashier my receipt from the day before and the one I had today. Everything matched up exactly the same… He wasn’t sure what to do so he said his manager would have to get back to me. After buying $16 worth, all I need is another $9 to get to my $10 Cvs CC. I hope they can do something about it…. 🙁

  FYI–I bought 6 Puffs the night before before the coupon expired. That’s why I bought $16 worth today and since it didn’t track, I didn’t want to buy anything else!

    Pampers at another cvs within 10 min distance and Pantene not working for cash cards ! There tracking but not renegerating the cash card ! I bought 4 pampers and 1 dawn no cash card ! As per manager on duty someone higher up had called allready to warm them! So there giving bucks instead

  What if you didn’t buy the entire $30 worth in one transaction? I bought $6 during Early Activation at my store, then today I bought $16 and all I have left is $9 to spend, but it still states I need $24… when I really don’t. I wonder if I have to call customer service?

    I just got back from cvs and need to vent about the cash registers. Y’all really need to keep track of what qpons and ecbs u used. Check the receipt before leaving the store. On one transaction I bought Edge shave cream which was not on sale and gave a 20% off qpon that expires today. She handed me the receipt and said, “Looks like it didn’t take off 20%.” Grrrrrr!!!! Then on another transaction I noticed it didn’t give me credit for a $3 ecb. Geezzzz!!!! Uuhghhhhh!!!! Ok. I’m done 😜😜😜

    Okay, so the deal of using 8 $2/1 Patent coupons to get the cash card….doesn’t PG have a limit of 4 like coupons per transaction per day? So how can one use 8 when there is a limit of 4? Or am I reading that wrong…

  Bariah! The p&g cupons have a limit of 4 alike cupons ! You could buy 9 Pantene using 3 cupons 5/3! Or trying to pay less using the 4/2 cupons ! They probably posted the 8/2 trying to do 2 transactions! Because. As of right now the cvs around here ( broadway st – telephone rd Houston, tx there limiting the cupons and items ! Even if cupon says one per purchase ! And there becoming more strict ! Pantene not is tracking at one cvs but not giving cash card at the bottom of receipt . The other cvs pampers are not giving the cash card but they do track !! Something wrong with corporate ! They gave me bucks after showing them that I had bought the participating items

  Thanks Edy! I just didn’t want to use too many when PG limits their coupons to only a certain amount per transaction. The CVS’s up here (Dallas, TX) are really stingy and I just don’t want to cause a ruckus….but thanks for your help!!

  Yes, before coupons. Been reading though that some of the P&G items are not tracking for the CashCard deal. It’s a pain, and I hope CVS straightens it out soon! You can always go back to the store and explain to the manager and should force print the $10 for you.

    I used my 30% off coupon on 3 Physician Formula CC items that were eligible for rebates. 12.79, 12.79, and 14.79. 30% off saved me 10.62. I also used 5.00 off 15.00 cosmetics purchase. 27.29 total. I used $10 card I received last week and paid 17.29 out of pocket and got back 24.00 in register rewards AND will submit for 25.00 rebate!!!! SCORE 🙂

    There is something wrong with cbs system ! They need to fix it fast! My friend bougt bounty 1at 9.99 1 suavitel 1.99 and 4 charmin bottom of receipt it says 47 towards gift card amount needed 16 but nothing at the bottom of receipt so they gave her bucks but everyone having this issue at least in Houston tx

    I went to CVS today to get the Niveas mens body wash and I was pleasantly surprised because at my store they were $5.49 each and I had a coupon in my binder from the CVS machine cpns for $3 off a body wash purchase of $11 or more. So I basically got them for free!!! WOO HOO!!

    I started back doing couponing at CVS and since at the CVS machine I am lucky to get one coupon a week from it and on my fiancées and friends cards they get several. I called CVS and they said its basically what I buy but my fiancée and I buy almost the same items minus a few different things. Any advice
