What a great idea! How did you do this? Just take pictures of your son’s artwork? I have boxes and boxes of artwork – hate to throw anything out. But if you are taking photos of the artwork and putting them into a photo book, that is a gret keepsake!
Mimi, here is an idea for you: Go though your child’s artwork and select a few to keep of the best of the best. Then take photos of the rest of your child’s artwork and put them in photo collages using the Project Life app for iphone or ipad. (If you don’t have an iphone there are other collage apps available, but I really love the Project Life app because you can journal as well in your photo collages.) Then make your photo book on Shutterfly using the digi-scrap option. With it you will need a total of 22 photo collages. (Since each collage is saved as a jpg file each collage will make one page. You can make more pages if needed.) After you do this you can throw away those boxes and boxes of your child’s precious artwork because you will have a nice book showcasing it. And you will be able to enjoy his art even more because it won’t be in those boxes. In addition, you can easily order more copies of the book so that his grandparents can enjoy his art as well.

I think shipping is $7.99 on photo books but it is well worth it. I make these for holidays and milestones and they are great quality. I also use them for gifts and people love them!
