My ad says the buy 4 price on the cereal is $1.99 when you buy 4 and the fruit snacks/granola is $1.49 when you buy 4.. I think this scenario is off..
I agree. $1.99 and $1.49 is the sale price when you buy four.
4×1.99=7.96-4=3.96-2=1.96. its buy 4 get $4 off after the sale price. Then the 2 $1 coupons.
The sale is “1.99 ea when you buy 4” it’s not an additional $4 off..

Yup…wyb4, your price is $1.99 cereal and $1.49 others. Side note, my Safeway doubles only one identical coupon per order. So if I have four identical coupons from sunday paper, first 50¢ will double, the other three will only deduct face value.

I just got some of the cereals with the BOGO coupons that have been on the back of other General Mills cereals. Like usual, the coupon deducted the shelf price of $2.99. I got six boxes, used three coupons, and paid $2.97 total. Score!
Wait for Friday on the cereal! Some cereals are included in the $5 weekend sale (like Lucky Charms) and are also included in the Buy 4, save $4 sale. That means Lucky Charms and maybe some others will be $1.50 each.
