Remember to wait to buy semi annual sale goodies. All prices will be marked down further in 2 weeks. you can only get price adjustments once within 14 days. The sale will probably go on into july. Store usually bring out old merchandise that didn’t sell from the previous semi annual and then about two weeks in, they’ll put out newer merchandise from this season. If you’re a card holder and you’re planning to do a price adjustment during this sale, do not use any angel rewards because they count as coupons and not giftcards, they will lower the price of the products you buy.. towards the end of the sale, all bras will go down 9.99, 12.99, or 15.99 depending on your stores region. Panties will drop down to 1.99 or 2.99 depending on your stores region. And all beauty and clothing will go up to 75% off towards the end. Hope this helps! Happy shopping 🙂
Wow, Awesome info! thank you so much for sharing. I wasn’t aware they did price adjustments. That’s a game changer….
Holly,is this also online or just in our local store? Thanks for the info!!
I’ve only had experience with it in store. They are stricter about online orders. If you order and the price does go down, just call the company. There’s no harm in trying :). the stores will match online prices, just have it pulled up on your phone. It also just depends on your cashier
Great advice, but if you wear a size that they don’t carry a lot of stock in, I suggest getting there ASAP. My size is usually gone by the second day of the sale.
Lydia, go in store and snag up all of the items you are interested in, even if you’re not sure you’re going to keep them. On day 14, return to the store with your receipt and ask for a price adjustment. I did this last time and got back $175!
Lydia, stores can place an order for anything in the catalog, even if it’s not carried in your store. They will also accept coupons, and it’s shipped to you.
Will they do price adjustments on online orders? Do those match online prices or store prices? This is good info to have!
Holly is absolutely right! I went to the Semi Annual Sale about a month to a month and a half in and they had marked every bra down to 9.99! There were slim pickings towards the end, but I found a few from the designer collection originally $98-$118 with pretty crystals/tulle/embellishments down to $9.99! For those of you buying and trying to exchange/return/get price adjustments, beware. They will run your drivers license each time, even with a receipt and even if its for a price adjustment or exchange. It is to prevent theft and abuse. Ive seen them deny people for returns/exchanges because their drivers license was run through the system a few times.
It’s a third party that is used to track returns, they are the ones who deny. The cashier should give a denial printout with the company contact information, so the customer can take it from there.
hi Shopper, could you explain this to me? sorry, im completely lost. So are they doing a background check or something? ive never heard of this…
I am one who tries on things and returns ALL THE TIME, esp. for better prices, etc. And I just started shopping a lot and ordering at VS. Does that mean there is a limit on my returns?
I believe the limit is $200 whether it is receipted or not according to a friend of mine that works at VS. They started a new thing (and by new, I mean it’s been around for a couple months) where they will run your drivers license each time you return, exchange or do price adjustments. Once you reached the limit, they (or the third party, as shopper mentioned) have the right to deny you. It goes into a data base the tracks for activity at L brand stores (Victoria’s secret, bendels, Yankee candle, bath and body works) and other stores such as JCP.
$200 total in returns?
That sucks. Guess I will stop shopping there, because really, I need to order/try on for size and such. I an a returning queen, but $200 will go fast.
If you’re not a serial returner, you shouldn’t worry. Lots of people buy, exchange and return like crazy during the sale. If you are worried, just don’t buy unless you are absolutely certain you want it. I just don’t feel comfortable handing over my DL at retail stores after security breaches like what happened at Target, etc.
I am not either, but I am probably a “Serial returner” in that I order various sizes/colors and try on and then return a lot. Or if I find for a better price, reorder and return. Guess I won’t be shopping at VS much longer!
Could you please tell me what happened at target because I do a lot of returns there
I think only really goes for people who use and abuse the policy. These companies are just trying to protect themselves. each year, prices go up and quality goes down because of fraudulent transactions. You shouldn’t be afraid to return unless you are doing something really sketchy :). I always have to try everything on and sometimes it just doesn’t work out. The company can’t penalize you for that
The current return policy should be on the back of your receipt. As far as I know it has not changed lately. There is a limit of 7 returns in 90 days with receipt. Exchanges that you don’t get money back from or where you pay them money, do not count toward the 7 returns. There is also a limit of $250 of non receipt returns in 90 days. Price Adjustments do count as returns. Usually the machine prints out a warning where you are close to the limit. The form gives you info to call and get a copy of your report if you want one. And the store can still let you return if you get a denial, it is up to them.
Thanks. I had no idea. I always have receipt returns.

Used ..thank you!
Thanks to everyone that posted about the adjustment suggestion. In the last 8+ years I have only once missed the opening day of the sale, I was in Jamaica for our honeymoon ☺️. I am excited to try this! The sale prices are good but I’ll save every little bit I can!
Is it just me or do they hold these sales more and more often?
Will they price adjust online orders and do they adjust to store price or online price?
Price adjustments for online orders, you have to call or get on Chat. For price adjustments for stuff bought in store, can only be done in the store. Not sure if the store will price adjust to an online price.
