Collin should get the referral credit. Perhaps you should post Your link on Your blog. Tired of people doing this.

Umm…..collin has posted over and over that we can post our referral link if we want. No need to be snippy about it.

        • kim

She says over and over to post it on YOUR blog or social media account so your friends and family can sign up under you. Not really fair that she’s doing all this work and others try to profit from it which is taking money from her.

          • meg

She has also stated to post your link in the comments. If she had such a problem with it I’m sure by now she would have stopped it. As another person said….they used her link in the past for this so now they r posting their link.

            • Swirlypop

She has on rare occasion said to post links in the comments. That’s the only time it is appropriate. Meg, Perhaps you should google how blogs make their money. Collin deserves all the financial credit. She has to pay her staff and herself. It’s about doing the right thing, not doing what you can get away with.

            • meg

Ok seriously? I personally have never posted a referral link. I am very aware of how blogs work. So stop assuming you know what I do. All I said was if collin had a problem with this she would stop it. Why don’t you go back through the thousands of posts that people posted their referral links?? I’m not getting away with anything….grow up.

I think the comments are probably moderated so if it was truly an issue, those referral links would be deleted (some deal sites, I have noticed, take a very hard line on this – which this one does not seem to do). For the record, I have never posted a referral link here or anywhere but I see no great crime in some stay at home mom trying to get a few extra bucks for nail polish. Obviously this blog is a business – it just seems thst if it was truly offensive to the blog people, they would delete them.

        • meg

Exactly!!! I too understand this is Collins blog however if she didn’t like it then the links for referals wouldn’t be posted. If it can help someone who needs it then its a good thing.

IS THERE CURRENTLY A SWAGBUCKS OFFER FOR JOINING JULEP MAVEN?

  2. Clare

If you are on the fence about joining, please know that every month on the 20th you get an email notifying you that you can make changes to your monthly box including SKIPPING for the month. It also allows you to send the box to a friend, great birthday gift shipped to their door. If you would like to use my referral link, https://www.julep.com/rewardsref/index/refer/id/175361/

Buyer beware! Not a company to purchase from. It is VERY difficult to cancel, I was charged for the shipping on a free box that never arrived and they have no customer service! Check out BBB ratings before buying!

I have never had a problem canceling or getting in touch with Julep’s customer service. I am sorry you had such a problem. This is a great company and their polish is amazing.

I find it extremely generous that Collin doesn’t delete posts with referral links. I personally wouldn’t and haven’t used the links b/c I feel Collin should always get the credit since this is her blog and her job. If others want to use the links and not Collin’s, than I’m not going to worry about it! I hate when things get “tense” like this :/.
