I’m so curious about this…anyone have experience and can share what sort of time commitment/money you can make doing this?

    • Cindy

I did this the last few months. I was surprised that many of the surveys could not be done on my iPad or iPhone. Although I have a laptop, I was not always able to sit down and take the surveys as quickly as they wanted. The window for completion seemed to be less than 48 hours many times. As I have three teenagers and one who just graduated, sitting at my laptop for these surveys was not always a priority and the company was not very flexible. Also, my understanding is you earn rewards, not money. Maybe you will have a better experience.

Who did you receive your correspondence from? I am trying to figure out if what I signed up for was a scam that I thought was Pinecone.

I’ve been doing it for a few months. So far it’s not a big money maker or anything, but it doesn’t take up much time either. To be honest I’m not even sure how much I have I credits or whatever from the surveys. I planned on just doing them when they come and close to Christmas I’ll see what’s accumulated.

It varies. Some of the surveys are long and others are short. I don’t think I’ve done one that’s been over 20 minutes. There is a cash option. So you get paid $3 for each survey you complete. After you cash out the first time they mail you a check. After that you can request to have it sent to your PayPal. Some weeks I may not get surveys, but other weeks I may get 3-4. They will also send some for the kids in your home to complete to. In my opinion I think it’s easy money.

I slacked on a few surveys in a row and got an email stating if I didn’t meet finishing a certain percentage of surveys they send, I will be kicked off the panel. Just FYI, if you decide to do them only during the Christmas season. I may have read your post wrong, but wanted to give a heads up. πŸ™‚

No I meant I do them all year and then around Christmas I will check my rewards balance. So just cash out once a year.

They’re worth the $3 you make for each survey. Plus if you get to do a home test, you get the product plus another $3 for the follow up survey.

    • Heather

Used to do it, but they sent a lot of surveys and required a lot of time. I did make good money though. It used to be $5 a survey and lots of product tests which paid more.

I love pinecone! I have been with them since last October and do a survey every couple weeks, you can choose how often you want them. They pay $3 per survey, I have also received one in the mail to do at home, I had to keep a log for about ten days and that one paid $50. I have done surveys for other companies, but pinecone is my favorite the surveys are not too long and not as repetitive as some. A big plus too is you are always qualified for the survey they send you!

I used to do this about 14 years ago, I think it must have been shortly after they first started. I was at a mall in San Diego and they asked my opinion on the windex gloves. I signed up with them at that point, and they used to send me a product to try every month, and I would get a $5 check for completing the feedback. So bummed I let it lapse when my husband left the Navy and we moved back to Northern CA.

I’ve started earlier this year & just the end of lasy month I cashed out $51! I do 2-3 surveys a week or every other week. Some surveys last less than five minutes & others last at least 15-20 min. Usually I do this while cooking dinner or while my fiance watches shows I dont care for. Overall Im enjoying this. πŸ™‚

Love doing pinecone surveys…. 3$ or 300 points per survey. They do send samples which I love…. you provide a feedback after trying them…. they do have a small window for surveys like 3 days or less and most of the surveys must be done in a laptop… but for 3$ per survey I don’t mind. No problem with them crediting or cashing out with them…..

  7. Mjenness

I signed up 3 years ago still waiting for a survey opportunity …

  8. FosterMom

I signed up about a year ago, so far I have made $3 with the one survey they let me do. I checked the settings and I opt in for any surveys, guess they like some people more than others.

I have been a member for several years. I receive the samples to try at home frequently. It is always a surprise for one to show up on my doorstep.

    • Emily

I agree with you about the surprises! Their delivery carrier always brings them first thing in the morning and puts them on our front porch. We never, ever, go out the front door. I let a drink they sent me sit out there for awhile so now when I take a survey, I make a point to check the front door the next two days since it seems like they overnight the items.
