Last week, my family was leaving a local store and my kiddos wanted to try the vending machines to win a toy. So armed with a few quarters each, they tried their luck. My daughter won, but the prize was stuck to the claw and it wouldn’t shake loose. I took a quick pick of the 1-800 number on the front of the machine and made a call. Today, I received this in the mail! A wonderful surprise for BOTH my kiddos as a thank you for playing the machines!! This was a great surprise and it’s great to know that some companies still go above and beyond!

      Same thing I thought. I bet lots of ppl are gna call with lies to get a free stuffed animal and probably mess it up for someone who indeed experienced an issue with the machine. 😣

    Off topic, but if you won a free med pan pizza from dominoes, the code expires tonight! I was pumped to finally get one these and accidentally ordered jalapenos instead of mushrooms LOL oops, oh well it was still good. Thanks!

    Just a thought: Please be careful of what you delete from your trash pile without double checking…This reminder comes as I realized too late that I trashed my pizza code from Domino’s/MLB no hitter promotion when going through my many emails too quickly. Then I “deleted” the trash at a later time (I had a couple of hundred emails!) losing my free pizza code. What a bummer! I guess you can’t “win them all”! Maybe someone will learn from my lesson. I WILL be more careful in the future with my emails that’s for sure.

    This was awesome customer service from this company. I bet your kids were super excited for this little surprise. It’s companies like this that keeps us coming back to them (even if it’s for a little fun at a vending machine).

    On another note, when we submit a Happy Friday post should we expect an email back from you so that we know you received it? I’d sent something in but never received a response to know if it was received. I know not all of our posts will make the “Happy Friday” cut πŸ˜‰ but I just want to make sure it was even received:)

      I sent in a happy Friday early in the week and pretty quickly received a “neat!” reply from Brynn, so I’m guessing yours didn’t go thru.

    On topic about customer service, I order those men’s shoes from Toms.com on Jun 12. On the 16th I got an email that my item had been shipped. Yesterday I called Toms because UPS says they have never received the package. I got the worst customer service from them. They refused to refund my money. I now have to wait 12-14 days to see if they can find the package, and then maybe I can get a refund. I will never again order from them.

      UPS is horrible. I had a package for delivery on Monday. It was in town since the previous Friday night. Monday morning it said out for delivery so I requested it be sent to my leasing office since I had an appointment and my neighbors are known package thieves. Shortly after, I got an email saying “We left the package in our facility, we will deliver as soon as possible.” Finally they rescheduled for Tuesday, but I had a dentist appointment so they told me it would be here between 12 and 4. Went to my appointment, rushed home and canceled other plans. Package didn’t come until almost 8pm and the delivery driver was VERY rude. I called UPS twice, but they didn’t apologize or anything.

    Had an impatient(rud-ish) CS rep when I called my Amer Xpress number to up my limit. Irritated me😑😑😑 Hope they send a survey. I did get the limit increase tho. We always pay off our card every month πŸ‘πŸ‘
