I use pint wide-mouth Ball jars to freeze leftover soups/chilis to take for my lunches. Ball pint jars are marked with measured increments and have a “Fill to Freeze” line so you leave room for expansion in the freezer. They don’t have any of the nasty chemicals found in all plastic containers. I defrost, pour 1/2 into a bowl, and save the other 1/2 for the next day. Works perfectly!
