With these coupons, does anyone know if they work on an item that comes up to $24.99? Some stores let it slide and others don’t. Thank you!
Yes it does. When they scan the coupon, it goes through. It worked for me.
It really varies. I had the same cashier twice, first time he rounded up an let me use it, a few weeks later they must have cracked down because it was $24.99 and he said they are not allowed to.
So true, I had a similar experience a couple of months ago. And it was the same cashier both times.
The pos system doesn’t allow it in most stores. You have to spend the full $25 pre tax to get $10 off. It really doesn’t have anything to do with cashiers. I work @ jcp for 3 years.
could you tell me if I go to a store, and they don’t have an item in stock, can they order any item from the website for shipping to the store for free? Our store is SUPER small so their inventory is very limited, and a coupon like this would go much further if I could get items from the website without having to pay shipping, or without having to reach $25 minimum for free ship to store threshold after coupon

If you order online, JcPenney does do free site to store shipping if you spend $25. I do that all the time, because my store is also very small, and with three kids I can not easily just go to a store and browse. 🙂
There is no minimum for free shipping to the store when you order within the store from the registers. From home it’s still at $25 minimum after coupons.
I have had it work on $24.99 before, returned a few weeks later and it didn’t. I had to grab a filler item to make $25.
what did you use for a filler item?
I have an ecode (digital giftcard) can this be used at the store or is it online only?
You can use your gift card online and in-store. At my store, you type in your gift card number and code where you swipe your credit card.
I was able to get 4 pairs of Liz Claiborne jeans for $42 with store pick-up. Really needed some jeans for casual Friday’s at work. This was perfect! Thanks Collin for all you do!
Does anyone else notice they do their math wrong and to their benefit? I take in the $10 off $25, find a pair of jeans where it says the regular price is say $50.00 and they are 50% off which should make them $25 but nooo JCP thinks 50% off is $24.99 therefore making my coupon useless. I found this on multiple items there.
Has anyone figured out an inexpensive filler item yet? All I can ever find is something for around $5. That takes away 1/2 of the coupon value.
I actually bought a shirt for my mother with a $10 off a $10 purchase and the shirt was on clearance for $10 but when I went to purchase it it was $9.50 when the cashier rang it up so I had to ask him to charge me the full price because that was what was ticketed so that I could get my deal!
