I received an email today that said if I enroll in DD Perks on the app. I had an empty Dunkin Donuts gift card from a My Coke Rewards promo a while back. I went to the app and loaded the info and promo code “bonus”. Within 2 minutes $5 was loaded to the card and I received an email for my free beverage. In the fine print, it said that $2 needed to be on the card but my card was zero and I still got it. [/h2s_box]

Does the free drink have an expiration? We don’t have a dunkin near us – but will be vacationing in a city next month that has many locations.
i was disappointed in free drink offer last time i signed up for this offer. the drink did have an expiration of a couple weeks out. but that wasn’t the worst–they would not let me use it on the drink of my choice. the employee said it was for a coffee or tea ONLY.
i had gone there for lunch, and paid for my lunch full price, and asked if i could get my free drink from promo. i showed the app coupon drink deal. i’m not able to drink coffee or tea, and also i live in the desert and i’m pregnant, i didn’t want coffee or tea. i asked if i could just have some water with my sandwich instead. i was told they didn’t give customers water. they would not even sub a cup of water 🙁
My god I hope you called customer service. That is horrible to treat a customer like this!
i went home and took the survey on the receipt, which identified the store location and time of visit, etc. i let their corporation know the situation.
i thought it was a little odd. isn’t a cup of water just a coffee, but hold the coffee part? i had thought it would be a fair substitution if they would not let me have my choice of soft drink, milk, or juice. oh well.

Beware guys!!! Every single time I (and various family and friends) have taken advantage of this deal we have had to contact customer service for the $5. Every time the correct steps were taken but the bonus was never received. I was extremely surprised that I received the $10 credit from Visa Checkout, I almost fell over! But then my sister tried and we had to contact customer service for the $10. If you check their facebook page from the last time they did a $5 offer you can see that lots of people had the same issue…they will give you the $5, you just gotta work for it!!
I added my cc info and it says submit— nowhere to add promo code. Will it be on next screen? I dont want to submit if i cant add code.
Yes, after you submit it will ask you to link your card to the DD perks card where it has the box for promo codes. I received $5 bonus within a few minutes.

Can you combine they two cards together?
I just looked at my DD app. I could not see a way to transfer the balance from one card to another (like it is easy to do with the Starbucks one). I am not saying that transferring is impossible, I just didn’t see anything.
when i needed a couple dozen donuts for a party, they had no problem using 2 different cards to pay for the purchase. one card i had was only like $2, and they just took off one digital card towards my purchase and then took the balance off another digital card i had with some money left on it.
i didn’t need to combine the balances in advance, but i was able to combine the 2 cards to pay.
My son and I did this last year when they offered $10 bonus.
