   Make sure you scan everything! Our store was marked 30%, and most things were scanning at that, but we found Carter’s 3 piece sets clearance marked $12.98, and a 2 piece bathing suit set marked $16.98 that both rang up around $3. Then His Majesty lost patience and we couldn’t hunt any more…babies, man! They don’t appreciate bargains!!!

  I went when I got off of work. I wish I had off seen this post prior to my visit because some things were still priced high and I didn’t scavenger then. I did get my daughter some flip flops, sandels,and 3 outfits. My store was picked over.

   Glad i’m not the only one. My hubby used to be the same way but has softened up a bit lately. When i tell him i got them free he gets so embarrassed as though he did it himself..:).
   And, definitely agree on his majesty not loving bargains. In fact, my 3 yr old guy loves throwing away. Aah….fun times of couponing…happy 4th to all!

   I forgot to ask in the comments do you all still get emails from toys r us. I used to get them all the time but now I don’t. I used to love the red hot one day sales emails but I don’t even get those anymore.

   I agree about checking clearance prices. I am usually always able to find Carters sets for $5 and they are rarely marked. The navy and green whale line was super cheap when I went the other day. Most of the sets were around $4. And don’t forget the freebie diapers and sippy cup coupons. My total was $32 before tax and they let me use both.

    I went to the Grossmont store in San Diego yeaterday and I couldn’t find anything less than the 30% off that was marked. I checked girls clothes in a few brands. I don’t think these good deals ever come to San Diego. I did score a ton of deals at baby gap.com yesterday – extra 40% off clearance.

    Sweet went today and got both my girls the long sleeve swim suits for our vacation.. 2 matching dresses and a pair of water shoes. All for 30! 🙂
