Yeah, been there myself a few summers ago, and it lasted 3 weeks! Thankfully I was able to roll my bucks the wk before, so I didn’t have any bucks expiring during the “test” period. The comments on FB are hilarious though, people threatening to pull RX’s, never shop at CVS again, etc. Come on, it’s not the end of the world! Sure it sucks, but take a week off. Spend QT with family instead of planning multiple trips. Life goes on. Sales attract. But just like when I shop Rite Aid, there are more people that DON’T have a savings card, don’t want one, and will pay full price. Seems CVS is doing pretty darn good, since they test market pretty often.

Shelly, if you deal for 2nd time with the same card, will no generate $2 ECB back to you. Unless you have another cvs card, so, you can deal and get $2 ECB.
I’m starting to realize that couponing at my local cvs’s is getting harder. I’m running into problems and they have started to accuse me of coupon fraud and tried to tell me I can only have one card instead of multiples. Eoth certain cashiers it goes through smoothly.

Well people break rules all the time. It just certain cashiers that say that and they don’t know who’s cards they are could be my sisters, moms, etc.
It’s wrong, and you are preventing others from getting the deals if you take multiples of the product. Breaking rules that hurt others and cheat the company is wrong, plain and simple.
Kathy nothing is wrong about what I’m doing when I’m helping out family members and neighbors. So if I’m wrong let me be wrong. Everybody knows at my local cvs’ s I coupon the problem comes in when their new employees that don’t understand what I’m doing. So taking no I share and I have twins :).
How do they know that you have more than one? They should not accuse you. People can borrow card from others.
Exactly I have several cards from family members. Not preventing no one from getting deals when they have trucks that come and restock.
That’s because it is wrong. It’s one card per household any more than that is abusing the system and cheating other couponers as well as the company.
I don’t agree with that because I have my card and my 80 year old father also has a card. Since he doesn’t always understand how to purchase items for the deals, it’s easier for me to stop and use his card and get him the items he wants. Do I consider that fraud or cheating the system, no because he could and has several times accompanied me to the store but I still go through the checkout for him.
Now, I do think it’s wrong for people to have multiple cards for themselves just so they can clear the shelves.
Well, I have a card and my husband had a card before we got married, so I have two cards. And I use both of them. Nothing wrong with that.

Just was at an EA store, didn’t try any deals for 7/12 though. I’m in the test and employee did say there’s nothing for Sun, and they would be putting up signs (at that time). She did mention there is an ad after this week. Redbox printed nada.

I think that would be considered a sale if you were getting ecb back. Right? You usually don’t get ecb unless it’s a special deal.

I printed out 2 LISTERINE Floss coupons. It says : CONSUMER: Limit one coupon per person. No more than 4 coupons ( of any kind ) for the same product in the same transaction.
Ladies, can someone explain what it really means?
Most important – if I want to do the deal ( buy 2 Listerine flosses), will I be able to use 2 coupons?

U may need an extra person to come with u if u do want to use2 coupons. U can however only have a max of 4 people total on ur behalf and use a Max of 4 coupons on multiples of same product.
What the fine print means is you can only use one coupon per source (insert, magazine, different websites, etc) per like item purchased, with a limit of 4 coupons. If you want to purchase 2 floss, you could use 1 coupon from say coupons.com and another coupon from healthyessentials.com.
The redemption center is not going to know if there were other people present during the transaction.
I had a hard time with the listerine deal this past week too. They let me use 2 different coupons (diff sources) only. I wanted to buy 3. So I had to go to another store to complete my deal for the ECBs. You may need to make 2 trips to complete your deal.

i don’t like this regional thing they are trying to do. I went to CVS this morning and even the managers don’t like it. they know sales will be down this week. and they won’t match the ad on line for sale prices either. So the people who are in this “Test”

I just sent an email to Colin about the pilot testing. My clerk told me they would not be having a sales ad. I’m in So. Illinois. I told her thanks for the heads up and I ‘d see her next week then. She thought it was all stores.

yeah, nothing is on sale at all. And people are saying when you scan your card at the magic coupon machine, it is not giving you any of the coupons that that the rest of the nation is getting as well.

I posted above, but CVS has test marketed before. I know it sucks, been there myself. When they did my area, it was 3 weeks. All you can do is just take the wk off, regroup and wait for next week.

Yes! It was brutal, seeing all the deals posted, and I couldn’t get anything! But on the flip side, it was 3 wks of no drug store spending!! I didn’t bother with Rite Aid at the time and well Walgreens was on my no shop list b/c of some issues I’d had.
Has anyone tried doing the All laundry detergent deal yet? Did it beep, did the cashiers push it through for you? I am curious if the MFQ will work since it has walmart on it, very interested in other’s comments about this.
I tried this morning. Had a really nice cashier. The coupon does not beep. It scanned just fine and I got my $2 ecb. I think it’s really up to the cashier and if they are willing to take the coupon or not.

You can probably just go to coupons.com and look for it there if it’s not showing up through Collin’s link. It should be under Household if you choose a category! Hope you find it!
When I click on Collin’s link it shows up as the 1st coupon and shows “clipped”. No zip code was entered. Maybe try refreshing the page then try again. It’s a coupons.com coupon.
I guess I read everything but did not put together that this meant no items were on sale. The manager was just wandering around the store and it was completely deserted. It was really odd. I just think people in general like to look at a print ad and if they want shampoo or something they will pick up Walgreens ad or Rite Aid and go there instead.

No ad/sales in Nebraska either……CVS should let their employees know what’s going on. While I was in the store, people were asking for the weekly ad, and all the employees could do was tell them they didn’t get any. They didn’t know why, though.
Has anyone run into issues recently with your coupons affecting your qualification for Extrabucks… I had to request my Extrabucks to be printed last week and the other cashier said it was because my coupons count towards my total–however the amount I was “away” from due to coupons was not even an amount that I used coupons for—did they change their coupon policy–I cannot find anything online that states the coupons count against your “total”. Thanks for any insight:)
I had that problem before. I emailed cvs to clarify, and they reassured me that it’s the total before coupons. I bring a copy of that email with me when I go to cvs
It’s always pre coupon. Sometimes items aren’t in the system to track, so cashiers just use the excuse of oh it’s due to you using coupons, which isn’t true.

your miles may vary.. CVS coupon policy is they don’t accept coupons with other store logos. The All coupon doesn’t have the WM logo, but does say “available at Walmart”, so the cashier may or may not accept it b/c of the wording. My cashiers are pretty strict about logo’d coupons, so I didn’t bother printing the IP, but used the $1 insert q’s instead.

Cvs replied to my email and let me know that next week there will be a cvs ad for my area (western New York). I don’t now if there will be an ad for all of New York, but hopefully this is a good sign that ads will be back!
