   We have had Jansport backpacks when the kids were in school. It is the only company that declares your backpack dead and replaces it with a similar one. Buy these.. they are built to last.

   I bought a jansport in 1999, my senior year of high school. Used it all through college and 16 years later we still use it for traveling and trips to Disney. It is in absolutely perfect condition after tons of wear!

   Jansport holds up for years. I had one all through high school and several years after that and mine held up very well.

   Awesome bags and company! I got this backpack in a different color in high school circa 2000. I still use it and it actually looks new! They do honor their warranty – my sister’s ripped (took a lot to rip it) and they sent her a new one.

   Great information! I just spent $240.00 for 2 of these backpacks with wheels for my kids and my husband thought I was crazy! Now I can tell him they will last till college and BEYONDDDDDDD……………LOL I’m also putting the reciept in a safe place just incase.

    I love hearing these testimony’s- My oldest graduated from high school this year and he got his first JanSport in 1st grade- we didn’t replace it until 8th grade and that was only because he was ready for a new color- and yes we bought another Jansport, he still has both backpacks and will use them to start college this fall- he jokes about passing them on to his kids, but it may actually happen! We have 3 younger kids and I just bought each of them one of these backpacks from Kohl’s (missed out on this deal), with the intention that they will have them throughout there school careers. I don’t know anything about Buydig but sure love our Jansports backpacks!!

    The warranty is great (I just found out about it about 2 months ago)! I sent in 3 backpacks that my kids used for many years and they sent back 3 brand new ones! Will definitely be buying again!

  I am in the process of sending my first one back. Do they give you a coupon for a free one or the actual backpack. Ours has a ripped shoulder strap and has stains it also has tiny holes at the bottom, do you think they will replace it? TIA

    My sister had an orange colored backpack which looked so cool but don’t find it anymore, but Jansport is definitely a great product for backpacks

    After going through many backpacks that fell apart, I got a Jansport in 10th grade waaaayyy back in 1989. I still have the original paperwork and I have sent it back 3 times. Twice was for a busted zipper and they fixed it and sent it back both times. The 3rd time I sent it back was due to the leather bottom becoming dry rotted. They declared it dead and sent me a new one. I still use as a day bag when we go on trips, etc. 26 years strong!!!! LOL

    My husband is quickly approaching 30 and has been using his Jansport every day since middle school, he still carries it to work even. It’s still in perfect condition. He finally messed up and left it home last week so I was able to sneak in a wash, he’s going to be buried with that thing I think.
