Last time they had this sale, I got 6 gallons of paint to do various projects. I bought the superpaint. It’s paint and primer in one. After the 40% off, it was still $32.99 a gallon, but it is amazing paint. It covers so well. I didn’t need to buy as much paint because in some rooms it covered the old paint color in one coat. I would definitely recommend the superpaint.

I love Superpaint! We had painted our living room and kitchen originally with Behr and it took all of 5 gallons. When we repainted it we used a lighter color and bought SW Superpaint and only used 3 !! Amazing coverage!

You can buy them untinted during the sale and then tint to your choice of room color when ready to paint. If primer is needed, they will also tint primer same as wall color.[/h2s_box]

Thanks for the tip about buying untainted and going back and having it tinted…i didn’t know that. We just bought a house and will have to paint every room in the near future but I haven’t settled on colors yet.. this will allow me to buy the paint now. Thanks!

My husband always buy stuffs from Lowe’s because he can get 10% military discount. My son drives (bumps) his min car in the house, so we need to paint the small areas the car hit. Lowe’s told us to bring a quarter size of our paint and they will make our color. Can this store do the same and be cheaper than Lowe’s? If yes, I will have to tell my husband about this Hip deal, both of us are not handy at all. TIA for anyone answer my question.

Yes they can! It might cost a little more upfront, depending on which paint you get but the paint is better, in my opinion, so you will end up needing less.

I signed up for the club yesterday and still haven’t got an email for $10 off $50. Anyone else have this issue?

    • Karri

This is from the post on H2S yesterday (text PAINT to ASKSW (27579) for text alerts and I received a $10/$50 coupon code!) Hope it helps

    • Megan

I would text as well – that code came right away.

If you go to the SW website and use store locator you will be able to click on the store closest to you and when it brings up that store’s info there should be a printable coupon option. Hope that helps!

Thank You that worked like a charm. I now have my coupon without having to use my basic cell.

I signed up for their PaintPerks Benefits program & did NOT receive the coupon to my inbox either. I followed your advice, Kimberly & it worked for me as well! So, thank you for that, as my cell phone is very basic as well. Now let’s just hope my local store accepts the coupon, as it sounds like some stores are, & others aren’t.

For anyone that has an Entertainment book, there is a $10 off $50 coupon in there as well. I bought a gallon of Duration paint and 2 brushes for $44 plus tax today (using the coupon)

    • Mumm

Thank You Very much I didn’t think to look in there. Looks like this book was worth it after all.

Are we able to combine the 40% off sale price with the $10/$50 purchase?

    • rmarinea

      Yes

Their Harmony paint is non-VOC so it’s a much healthier option. It’s also great for anyone with sensory issues or allergies. I’ve painted several rooms with various colors and they came out great. Be sure to use the handy machine they have where you put a color swatch on it and it shows you the paint color under different lighting conditions. It really helps to compare the difference between natural light and fluorescent.

Any suggestions on their deck stain? I have a weathered deck that is need of some TLC.

    Do paint expire?

    Just as an FYI,
I just tried to use the $10 off 50 text and my local SW store would not honor it. They claimed the 40% off sale excludes coupons. I think it’s worth asking about before the mix up your colors. I wish I had.

I signed up for the perks and did not get an email coupon…ugh!
