   Shipping for the cards was $7.99. Came out to $8.63 with tax, for me.

  Same here! Kinda kills it, I’m appreciative they offer these “free” gifts – but the high shipping for a deck of cards ($5 seems reasonable) is awful. I presume they are including processing/handling fees in there too.

  Well they do these often, and if they send everything out with free shipping too, then they won’t be making enough to charge the their printing material to make it. The shipping isn’t bad for a “free” $10-15 gift.

  I agree, I don’t mind paying shipping, but I do think for something small like the deck of cards, $5 is more reasonable. I definitely don’t mind paying the shipping on the photo books.
