Hi Tiffany! Keep in mind that the reams of paper will ring up at $4.99 each so your total will only be $19.96 after the 4 reams so you’ll need to purchase add’l items to get the total up to $25 so you can use the $5 off $25 coupon! 🙂
I was just at staples.cashier says you will not get the paper rebate if you use the $5 coupon.

At the register my store had a sign saying they were all out of the Poppin pens and there would be no rain checks.

Oh and there were .75 cent coupons in the mechanical pencils but they expired on 6/30 🙁
Mine expire on new years day of next year I’d return or contact the company. Had no problem using them on the $1 papermate pens at Wal-Mart price matching or staples.
the 1cent coupon for the paper says limit 1. maybe the 4 limit is for the rebate.
You can give the coupon 4 times in one transaction and receive the rebate for all 4.

Where can I find the instant saving of $2.80 coupon for 1 ream of paper? I haven’t gone to staples store yet, but just wanted to make sure before I go. I went online and didnt see the paper coupon in the coupon list. TIA

I just talked to someone via “live chat” and they didnt know why it was not coming off… and also showing up as priced at $7.99 instead of $7.79 to start with. Our local store closed, so i am sad that this is not working! :/

So I got those poppin pens in the store yesterday using the text I got yesterday and now I got this 2nd text with a different number. Does that mean that I can go and get another box? Or will it recognize that it’s the same offer for the same customer? The store is probably all out anyway but I just wondered…..

My Staples will only price match if the store you are matching is directly in their area as a competitor. Office Max is in another section of town, so they don’t consider it a competitor and won’t honor it.

Niether. Rebates are always by a check mailed to you or by prepaid card that’s mailed, states on rebate form. Can lookup rebates ahead of time on their rebate site.

I got my Poppin pens today — got the text yesterday, but didn’t go until today. I noticed that the coupon code is now a 16 digit number. They are really good pens — write very well, most like gel pens.
For those wondering about coupons and rebates: You still get the full rebate amount even if you used coupon. Usually staples’ coupons attach to one item only and if this item has a coupon already, no other coupon can apply to it. For example, you have a paper ream coupon and then you want to use 5/25 one. It will not apply unless you have another item without a coupon that is $5 or more. If it is less than $5, only that amount will be applied this making it free. No overage. Also, the best part is that the $25 amount is pre-coupon, pre-rebate, e.i. The full price. The MMs come from rebate and coupon combinations.

I saw on the staples ad that the team of paper deal with the rebate is only for 3 days (sun-tues). I was gonna do this tomorrow but I guess not.👎🏻
You might want to try and call your Staples. My Staples is still giving the rebates on the paper deal even though it is no longer advertised.
Sorry! Nevermind, they still have a rebate its just not as good as a penny. Its a 3.80 rebate after you purchase the paper at 7.79, so 3.99 a pack.
thanks collin! those papermate pencils are .59 in shoprite this week and the coupon that comes in them is for .75 which doubles in shoprite!
There was also a OfficeMax store coupon for $.55 off any pens or mechanical pencils in this weeks ad. I wonder if Staples would take a competitors coupon and be able to apply that towards the mechanical pencils. That would make the pack 15 cents!!

So sad there’s no local staples near me. They’ve got fabulous deals on paper, notebooks, etc. oh well, hoping to get great deals via Office Depot max, target, Walmart, drugstores…

I went to staples today to price match the mechanical pencils and they would not do it stating since the free pen was in there it does not match exactly. Anyone else have this issue?
I went to staples they allowed me to price match. The pen is “free” so that should not matter.
