Schoola does really have some great stuff from time to time. However sometines things do get mis-labled or the wrong item sent. However, their customer service is great! You can email them with any issue and they get back super fast! Here is my link if you would like to join https://www.schoola.com/stitch?ref=cp-3XtniMLT

The lack of good uniforms makes back-to-school shopping on Schoola basically useless for us.

Which is part of my problem with public schools requiring uniforms! They’re impossible to get for cheap because all your neighbors need the exact same clothes for their kids, so local thrift stores are consistently wiped clean of uniforms. Uniforms are at a premium around here, and people hold on to them. So every year, we wind up having to buy new sizes up. :-\ Meh. I’ve been dealing with school uniforms since 2004, btw, and it’s sucked the whole time!

    • Michelle

Your comment makes me LAUGH! I went to a private school growing up and had to wear uniforms. They were ugly and costly but you never had to worry what someone else would be wearing or was was considered “popular” because everyone looked UGLY! Now that I have children they go to public school and they don’t require uniforms. I always have dressed my kids well, but I think I would love to have uniforms. The grass is always greener on the other side!

      • Leighann

My kids go to public schools that require uniforms.

My oldest’s high school requires uniforms only from a certain store that charges about $50 for a jumper dress (required).

My first grader’s uniforms are significantly cheaper, but I still wind up paying more for a week’s worth of uniforms for the older girls than I for he entire new season wardrobe for my4 year old who isn’t in school.

And the uniforms can have small logos on them, so you can still tell which kids have more money. Plus, the shoes are not uniform, so you can tell who can afford the Nike shoes versus who gets theirs elsewhere.

Basically, the uniforms are a huge, expensive PITA for us!!

        • Blair

Leighann, what an unfair uniform system! Those rules should be rewritten to make it more equal to all students. If not what’s the point in uniforms?!

    • Jennifer Hernandez

I used your code and you should have a 15 dollar credit now!!

      • Melissa

        Thank you so much!!

The items i have received were actually in better condition than what was listed.i am very pleased πŸ™‚

I’ve loved schoola since I started using them in February, but lately, ugh. I’ve gotten so many items that are in poor condition but were listed as good. Just yesterday, I received a skirt, that was stained so terribly that it was not something that I would have ever even considered donating for resale. I don’t know how it could have been missed; it was listed as being in ‘good’ condition. Their pictures are too far away, and there are not enough of them. The listings do not include sufficient data to make a real assessment of the product. My husband ordered 3 pairs of jeans that were in his size. All 3 were NOT indicated to be skinny jeans, but alas, they came & all were skinny. Back in the donation bag they went. Disappointing.
Their customer service is great, but…I don’t feel good recommending them or putting my link out there anymore.

    • GuestC

@truthbetold: Try emailing customer service! I had a similar problem when I ordered a white skirt and the item came in as shorts with wide leg openings. I had used $18 in credits on this one item, but the rep from Schoola gave me $30 credits as a “refund”. I was able to keep the item too. Hope this helps and to me the hassle is worth it for the free/discounted clothing. πŸ™‚

      • GuestC

Be sure to attach pictures too and mention that it was listed in “good” condition if you decide to email

        • Cassandra

I hope I’m not the only one who has had to do this several times? I feel like they think I don’t read the descriptions or something, but I have only contacted them on clothing that was sized wrong, stained or when a package was lost.

          • Rebecca

I have had to several times as well! It gets frustrating, even if they have good customer service. I take pics & send with email.

          • molly

Your not alone! I’ve received items in poor condition that were advertised as good, mislabeled sizes and the last order was lost/delivered opened and items missing. Customer service apologized and offered credits, however i wish they would just fix their system instead of giving away more credits. I definitely wouldn’t spend money on their site, only the free credit!

      • JC

I ordered something but it wasn’t in stock when they packed up the rest of my order. The item cost around $3 but they gave me a $15 credit to make up for it. Very generous!

    • Jenn

I agree with you. My last two orders were really disappointing. I don’t know if I want to do it again.

  6. Donna

I’m having the hardest time making a custom collection. It won’t let me pick a name. Keeps saying “This collection cannot be published as there are few items matching the criteria.”. Anyone having this? I’ve tried different names for my collection & nothing is working πŸ™

    • Blair

You have to pick a category for your collection that’s more broad so more items are in it like “women’s clothing” for example.

    • Angela

After you name your collection you have to click on sizes and brands that you’re interested in. It should work after that.

      • karen

thank you for explaining πŸ™‚ I was wondering how to make one….and it worked πŸ™‚

  7. K

I’d also appreciate it if someone could use my link. Have ordered several times for my 3 kids, some items have been great, others just ok- but customer service has always been great about fixing any problems I’ve had and addressing any discrepancies. . Definitely worth a try at this price πŸ™‚

Got a cardigan and nwt capris for free with the $10 credit. Yay! Thanks!

  9. Barbara Simon-Waters

If there is ANYONE out there who has not signed up for Schoola, please consider using my link. I have generally received nice items. I just wish the sizes of different companies were uniform. A size 10 from one brand is not equal to a size 10 from another. Oh well…sewing project! Would be very grateful for anyone clicking up and signing up through my link! https://www.schoola.com/stitch?ref=cp-3Xwif69H

  10. MrsMassone

I think Collin asked for people to use her link. She does so much for us the least we can do is use her links so she gets the credits or money. Perhaps everyone could post their personal links on their own personal Facebook or twitter pages or just give them to their family and friends I’m just thinking this is the most respectful thing we can do I’m sorry if I have caused you any offense this is just my own two cents take it or leave it

  11. Shalini

I’d really appreciate it if someone used my link. I used someone’s link last time. I’ve just lost some baby weight and would love to get something new….i’ll post soon after I get my first referral. Thank you so much!

The items I ordered were in perfect shape, but 2 of the six were really small for their listed size they and another one came in a fabric that looked totally different in the picture. Out of the six items, we really liked 3 and donated the other 3 to a youth program. So be cautious on what you order and know the way the sizes match up to different brands.

  13. lalasmommy

I have signed up through Collin’s link a while ago, thanks! Placed couple of orders and scored some really nice brand name items super cheap.
I did have a problem twice when the size ordered was not as listed but their customer service is very prompt, refunded the price immediately and gave me some credit to use. Don’t be shy if you receive a wrong size or your item has flaws that were not listed, send them an email. Also when browsing, zoom over the pictures to see the items closer.
I would be really grateful if someone could use my link, thank you!

My son was the SchoolaStyle winner this week! Thank you for informing us of this wonderful site, I’ve been able to get his summer and fall wardrobe for less than $10!

  17. Spring

Please consider using my link. You can also use CHRISTINE15 for $15 off. New schoola member only. Im not sure but combine with 50% off code, you can score a pretty good deal for your kids. Here my link

  18. andrea

The extra $10 deal is not working πŸ™

  19. Polly

Schoola customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE! Never received my order, overcharged, and was told they’d talk to their manager and get back to me (which just means go away). I would not recommend this site. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

  20. Donna Costelli

Could you please email me a receipt for my order ( printer is down)
I wanted to show my daughter what I orded for her daughter but was unable to do so.
