I just got 144 Dixon pencils @ walmart.Com for $11.01. Dixon and Ticonderoga pencils are made by the same company. They’re not pre-sharpened, but I’d rather pay less and sharpen them ourselves.
The Ticonderago pencils are $1.00 for a 12 pack at Office Depot this week. I bought 7 boxes (84 pencils) for $7.00!

I went to office Depot yesterday. They didn’t have any of their good deals in stock. Really frustrating when i live about 30 minutes away. The Dixon pencils i ordered from wm were 144 for 11.01 which is only 91 cents per 12 pack.
Both are made by Dixon, however the pencil casing that holds the lead are made differentlly. The Ticonderoga brand holds up better without a lot of breakage because of the solid wood base. So, thus the slight price difference. Either way, they are both good deals. Just thought I would share in case someone didn’t want to go through the hassle of online ordering. They could just head down to their local Office Depot.
