   I love my Paul Mitchell. It’s about four years old and still kickin’, but I’ll probably pick this one up for when mine dies. This is a great price for a quality iron.

  Definitely the PM. I had a Chi and quickly gave up on it. The plates grabbed my hair and the heating was inconsistent. I know there are awesome Chi irons out there, and people who love them, I just like PM better for my thick, coarse hair. HTH.
