Do anyone have it and used it?

    • Cassandra

I’m not sure which model my sister has, but if you have a big family, I HIGHLY recommend. We can finally get our huge family into one picture, lol. πŸ˜›

Mixed reviews! As everything must maintain charged and off or it won’t work when you need it. Its great for pictures with landscape in the back or a group selfie. I haven’t gotten the hang of it with just myself or with the kids. I find it more of a pain to connect the bluetooth and phone than to just take a selfie and go. $8.99 is a deal. We paid $19 at Walgreens.

I never thought I’d buy a selfie stick but I bought this for our recent vacation & it worked great! I wanted it for photos where there wouldn’t be a stranger around I could ask to take our (group of 6) photo. Got great shots with waterfalls, mountains, etc. in the background. I like the extending arm & it was fun to just play around with. Very easy to use but, as with any electronics, you do have to remember to charge it.

Oooh Thank You Collin! Going on vacation next week and was planning on buying one! AWESOME!!!!

  3. M

These are $5 at Five Below.

  4. Nl

Saw selfie sticks at 5 below

  5. Jennifer Rodriguez

Cheaper ones arent bluetooth and have to be plugged into the phone. This is a great price, I ordered mine!

  6. APS

It’s showing the price as $15.99?

    • Blair

Did you use the E48Q54T9 coupon code at checkout?

  7. jess

Can’t believe the world needs a selfie stick!

    • Amber

I was just thinking the same thing! Who would’ve ever thought we as a society would need selfie sticks. Sigh.

    • Ketsy

I used to think so until I went on vacation. People are so self absorbed that no one offers to take your picture anymore and if you dare to ask you can even get “no” or “I don’t have time”.

What I can’t believe is that the sticks were banned from Disney.
Some idiot ruined it for the rest of us. πŸ™

      • M

So happy they were banned at Disney & I wish they were banned other places too! On my last Disney trip I saw so many people (honestly mostly teenagers & kids) swinging these things around or swinging them out to take a picture of them-self with total disregard for people around them. So annoying to have to jump out of the way of them. Unfortunately with the level if self absorption that exists today situational awareness is pretty much nil.

    • Melissa

Jess, I agree with you in large part. I am so tired of seeing narcissistic selfies posted everywhere, by celebrities and non-celebrities alike. On the other hand, I think I probably need one. As the only one who takes photos in my family and extended family, I am almost never in any of the pictures.

      • A

Me neither. As much as I loathe the idea, it would be nice to be in at least some of the family pictures to prove I was there, lol!

      • rebecca

In all of our family’s photos, my Dad is “The Shadow.” He always faced us into the sun and we were squinting like crazy but you can totally see his long shadow as he was taking the photo. I think for family outings, this is a great idea. I wouldn’t be carrying around like I’m Paris Hilton needing self created paparazzi but in some situations, it would be useful. I do have to say that I am waiting to hear the statistics of people dying while distracted by selfie stick photo taking.

When I first saw these I thought they were a joke. A perfect gag gift. I have seen so many people use these. I think they look ridiculous using them. I get taking large family pics, but most phones have a timer like cameras do. I guess I just don’t get it.

    • roxy

What does a timer have to do with anything? Have you ever tried to take a picture with the timer? How many times do you have to run back and forth to rearrange the camera so that everyone fits in…. Plus how do you get a phone to even stand for a photo? Yes they might look ridiculous, but years ago everyone wanted to have the tiniest cell phone possible and if everyone had a big one they thought they looked ridiculous. Now everyone walks around with oversized phones.

      • Sarah

Wow. I am sorry my opinion made you jump to a defense. I have used a timer and it worked well for me. Like I said, I don’t see the point. Why carry around a stick? My opinion will not change, so no point in trying to get defensive or disputive. πŸ™‚

  9. Carla Stines Bast

My daughter loves to say that she needs a selfie stick. Then if she sees someone taking a selfie she can hit them with the stick. Not sure what comedian we heard that from but anytime someone says “selfie stick” she has to tell them that. However, this is a great deal and I’m thinking it wouldn’t hurt to have one for times we’re out and would like a nice picture without asking strangers. I don’t want my smart alec family to hit me with it though. LOL!

  10. M

Does anyone know if this will work with older iPhones like iPhone 4?

  11. Julie

Promo code isn’t working for me:(

    • nicolegammeter

It’s still working for me. If you’re on a mobile device, maybe try on a laptop or desktop. Sometimes that makes a difference. πŸ™‚

      • Julie

I tried again a few minutes later and it worked. Strange! Thanks for the great deal, we will have fun with this on vacation this week!

    • ann

promo code not working for me either

  12. roxy

I dont think you need a selfie stick to take pictures of yourself only. Easy to do without stick. However, I can never get any good pictures where both me and my husband fit in the picture. I got to test and review a stick that looks just like this one and I love it. Very easy to use and fits in my purse. I dont think it’s worth $39 but for this price, I’d get it. I’ve seen them sold in retail stores for $15

  13. Christina

    Boscovs.com has some for 6.99

  14. Katherine

promo code is not working…tried on both colors. πŸ™

    • MJ

Same here. Tried both colors with no luck.

  15. Irene

I wasn’t a selfie stick fan either until I heard multiple stories of people running off with phones and cameras when asked to take pictures.

  16. Lily

Code isn’t working for me πŸ™

  17. Cece

Tried both laptop and mobile and code isn’t working

  18. Jay

They have these at the dollar tree – ..lol
