Just wanted to give some feedback on TOMS. I got these because of all the hype, I ended up buying them from Nordstrom for almost twice as much. They do look nice, and I wanted something comfortable for work. However, these are NOT comfortable ,they make my feet hurt and my legs hurt. They are also very slippery – no grip. Would not purchase again .

your welcome! I feel like I am tempted to buy a pair because the price is good, but I notice wearing them for a long time is not a good idea. they don’t hurt your feet while wearing them , it’s the after effect.

I have had a different experience. I toured all over France and NYC wearing only Toms. I love them. They are lightweight and comfortable. Maybe you can try a pair for yourself before deciding?

I love my old pair of Toms so much that I purchased a new classic one recently from an online deal. They must have changed the material because my new one are not as soft or comfatable to wear. The material is rough around the seams and rubs the top of my feet raw. I regret that I am unable to return them without incurring a shipping fee.

I think if you have never tried Toms on before you should hit up your local shoe store and give them a try (then you will know what sz to get too) before getting them online. I have wide feet with very high arches and they seem to be made more for regular to narrow/ low to flat arched feet. I personally can’t wear them, just like I can’t wear most clogs or high heels. It looks like one of the evil step sisters in the original Cinderella where her foot is practically bowed in 1/2 trying to get into the glass slipper, proclaiming “IT FITS” before it pops off and the shoe goes flying across the room. Not too pretty lol.
