I’m about to move to a new house and my main grocer will be Albertsons. I’ve never really shopped here before, how does their coupon policy work? Do they have digital coupons? Is there a reward shoppers card? TIA!
No reward card, they got rid of that years ago.
I just moved also and albertsons is now my main grocer! I love it! They have amazing deals! I thought moving from Wisconsin to California would be way more expensive but I was wrong.. No shoppers card. Yes they have digital coupons. You can enter your member number in at the register. I’ve never used the digital coupons because I find it harder to know if the coupon came off or not, etc. Albertsons and Safeway can have awesome deals, and can save you money as long as you buy nothing at regular price lol.
Safeway has digital coupons and can enter your phone number at checkout, Albertson’s doesn’t have these.
Can this offer be combined with coupons since it is instant savings?

Yes you can. I tried this deal last time they offered it at albertsons.
If you want to use SavingStar with your purchases at Albertsons, you will need a card. SS does not allow an upload of a receipt with Albertsons – you need to get a special card through Upromise. Here is what I was told in an e-mail from them back in March.
“Albertsons offers a Upromise branded loyalty card. This card can be used as an identifier with SavingStar and you do not need to be a Upromise member to use it. You can obtain one of these cards by calling 877-932-7948 (dial ‘0’ for customer service), and once you do receive it, make sure to register it to your SavingStar account under Albertsons.
We understand that not all store cashiers and service desk attendees will be aware of this change and may tell you that you do not need to scan your card. However, it is important to note that the cashier must scan your card when checking out in order to redeem SavingStar eCoupons.”
It’s actually great using SavingStar at Albertsons because uploading a receipt (like what I have to do with Ralph’s) is a pain! And often what’s on SavingStar comes on sale at Albertsons, so I really get a deal! AND you can use paper coupons in addition! Love it!
