Does anyone ever dilute foaming soap to make it go further? Thanks

    • Kat

I wouldn’t because it pretty much already is diluted soap.

    • liza

it won’t work because it’s already diluted!

I do with the bath and body works foaming soap. Not too much, just a little bit of water works.

    • mamasweetpea08

I know you can use the regular gel soaps and dilute it for foaming soap, but as others have mentioned, if you purchase foaming soap, it is already pretty much diluted.

      • mamasweetpea08

interesting, while reading reviews I came upon one reviewer who posted about diluting regular soap. this review received two responses indicating that diluted soap can more readily grow bacteria because one is essentially diluting the preservatives designed to keep the soap shelf stable and limit bacterial growth. Seems like “soap-bottle-petri dish” is quite opposite to the desired effect of most consumers ๐Ÿ™

I always dilute any soap that goes into my soap containers.

You can dilute the regular soap. I do that with the method ones and they last a long time. Lina once did a post on diluting soap
