My comment is on chest freezers in general (not this specific one). I bought a chest freezer and it does hold a lot and is energy efficient. My problem is that things get buried and lost in a chest freezer. I prefer my stand-up freezer and regret not paying a little more to get a 2nd one instead of the cheaper chest freezer.
I can relate! What we’ve done to help with that is use a plastic “milk crate” or even a cardboard box to help make sections and layers to keep things more organized (while not taking up too much space). Also, keeping a list of what’s in the chest freezer can be really helpful. Good luck 🙂

I have avoided the chest one for this very reason… and also because of my irrational fear of falling in when digging something out from the bottom!
