Do the Plenti Points work like the old program where you’re forced to use the newly earned rewards on your next transaction and it’s loaded to your card?

    • Maja

no, you have option to use them or not. hth

      • mel

Earned points are loaded to your card, however you can use them in any increments as you’d like, as long as your total (w/tax) is $2 or more. 200 Plenti points = $2, and can cover tax. Just let the cashier know you want to apply points and you verify if you want to use ALL or on the pin-pad screen, you can change the amount, then verify. Just like Ups, Points earned can’t be redeemed until 6am the following day. Even with the delay to use them, I like the points better than UPs. And more user friendly to shop than Walgreens, b/c at Rite Aid, you can roll points.

Can you do the Walgreens deal more than once?

    • ally

Yes you can! Seperate transactions. And you cannot use the $2.50 RR to buy the same toothpaste again. Must be used on a different brand than what the RR says

      • Gigi

True. But, the RR is rolling for most on this deal. Happens from time to time. Therefore, you CAN make the same purchase again using the RR. Repeat. YMMV.

Can you use the walgreens sales for Colgate toothpaste to pricematch at walmart? What you going to say to the cashier?like you want to pricematch .50 cents? pls help

    • Whitney

Nope. The sale price is $3, that’s what Walmart would match.

  4. Laury

Can you use more than one RR in a single transaction?

  5. Danielle

Is there a limit of how many you can do in one day at Walgreens? I already bought 2 today, but just printed more coupons and want to go back.

  6. Danielle

Yes you can use more than one in a transaction. Just make sure you have that many items. For instance, I you are using three you have to have three items.

I had a bad experience at Walgreens last night trying to do this deal. I brought two tubes of colgate toothpaste to the register and asked for separate transactions. The cashier (an older lady) saw my printables and said “are those copies?” and I quickly responded “no” and she replied “Well, we’ll just see about that won’t we. The register won’t accept them if they’re fakes.” I was really offended and resented the accusation that I would try to rig the system. Lo and behold both transactions went through without any issues. I think the cashier was disappointed that they both went through. I think she was ready to cuff me.

I debated on speaking with a manager about her tone and behavior but decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. It’s become increasingly more and more difficult to coupon at Walgreens especially when you’re being treated as a scammer or con artist. Is it just me? Am I overly sensitive to these things?

Not just you. I’ve had cashiers tell me that and it’s quite frustrating. I have a laser printer, so a majority of my coupons are in b/w, unless there’s a good coupon then I turn on my wireless color printer for another set. Once, I was so annoyed, I told the cashier I have a pretty busy life, I don’t have time to fake a coupon. I wouldn’t even know HOW to make a fake. And IF I were gonna fake a coupon, it wouldn’t be for a measly $1 off. Geesh!

    • Ashlee

How horrible! Sadly, I’ve been in line behind people (usually at target) with TONS of fake copied coupons and the cashier accepts them no problem. So I’m sure this is a huge problem for these stores since they literally lose money every time those awful extreme couponers scam the system and ruin it for us who actually follow the rules!!!

      • Charlotte's Mom

Just curious, how do you know they’re fake? Do you overhear them bragging about it to each other?

  8. Danielle

If you don’t have a computer to print the coupon you can load one to your card and still get one for the deal!!! Just FYI!! I did it today! My computer has been having issues printing…😫
