   I tried buying some pillows but the checkout screen wouldn’t load. So I’ve been on hold waiting on customer service for 28 minutes and counting so I can place the order over the phone. I imagine when their customer service department closes in 13 minutes and my call still hasn’t been answered I will be disconnected and out of luck…I’ve only dozed off once so far, not bad.

   I was disappointed in the customer service I received from Macy’s. I called Monday evening with four questions one being which items are part of the sale…a representative told me that the link in my email will take me to everything that was included in the sale. I also asked what price the discount would be applied from (to have an idea of how much I would pay). She told me it was going to be 60% off of the red price I see. Well come Tuesday morning, Macy’s increased all of their prices so everything was way more expensive. Plus I didn’t see anything that was 60% off, the discounts were less than 60%. And some clothing I was interested in wasn’t even part of the sale like the rep told me. Luckily, I had a screenshot of the prices the night before. Because the rep actually answered my four questions with all lies…I called Macy’s and demanded that they honor the pricing I was told. Took 4 calls and an hour and 15 min later (they kept hanging up on me and disconnecting while holding for a supervisor), but I got it!

   Hope you shipped this sale yesterday, prices were increased overnight of several items! That is not right! Don’t advertise a sale for multiple days to just change prices! Shame on Macys

  This is true, I know Gymboree does for sure, I was looking at some items and added them to my cart the day before the Gymbucks started so I can be ready, when the Gymbucks day arrived the prices had gone up by ~30%. I wasn’t happy about it but didn’t have a choice, I had $50 worth of Gymbucks to use.
