Is this makeup any good? I can’t decide between this and Sephora for nieces for Christmas!
I would skip Ulta brand and get a Sephora Favorites set, they are always changing, but includes products from various brands (not just Sephora brand) in deluxe-multiple use-sizes, in various price ranges too.
Ulta is pretty good for the price. Sephora is definitely better… much pricier though. If your nieces are teenagers, I’d go with Ulta and save yourself some money. You’d be getting a lot more bang for you buck with this deal. IMHO
i use these type of ULTA gifts a lot, i LOVE them. i use them for gift basket items for my nieces and my sisters-in-law, and i like them for myself, too. i have been using Ulta for about 10 years.
here is my opinion of the quality– Ulta colors are usually nice & neutral. the powders, brush sets, blushers, lip colors, and eye pencils are comparable quality to Revlon or Stila. eye shadows are decent quality and pretty good pigmentation also. the makeup bags are nice too!
I have found the Ulta brand mascaras and nail polishes are inferior quality, and flake off quickly. i would not put them in a gift for adults. regular drugstore buys are better quality for these items. i personally prefer higher-end for lashes and nails.
Got this, I hope this is enough make up to try and last me for a little while. I usually don’t spend much on make up but I have been wanting to try better brands than the drug store.

I highly recommend the ulta brand nail polish. I got some during a sale (I think I paid about $1.50 for some “holiday” colors last winter) and it wears so well! It lasted 5 good days with no chips and that’s with taking care of a newborn! (a million diaper changes, dishes, scrubbing clothes, etc)
So exciting! I have always wanted to try Benefit products so I purchased The Flawless Four and The Sizzlin Six sets. Because I spent >$50 on Benefit I was able to get a Lollitint mini, a train case, and a Roller Lash mini all for free! How are you ladies getting free shipping on $35? It is telling me I need $50 to get it?
Free shipping minimum went up to $50, but I was just able to order and get free shipping on an $23 order though I am platinum (maybe that is why?). I had had my cart full since the other day and finally bit. Also found via ebates a free $10 Japoneaque primer free with any purchase too.
I couldn’t get free shipping! Said I had to spend 50.00.
Now the min for free shipping is $50. $35 ended Sunday.
I still can’t see the 15pc set in my cart.
