I agree Rita. That’s why I no longer waste my time with Swagbucks. Thirty swagbucks is the equivalent of 30 cents. Not worth my time to spend a whole day on thirty cents!
I know…When you think about how much time you spend and what you’re actually ‘earning’ for your time :-/
I limit my swagbuck usage to the daily poll, searches (only what I actually look for), and their shop and earn links. I still earn a few gift cards a year. It is a nice little treat. Oh and printing coupons! If you go under their shop link you can print out coupons. For each one you use you will earn 10 swagbucks. Again if you were going to print and use those coupons it is a nice perk. If you print and use 4-5 coupons a year that is a $5 amazon gift card. It isn’t a lot but with other swagbuck usage it can add up. 🙂
I purchased a very expensive item through their Shop & Earn and never got my Swagbucks! Sent them documentation and still never got them! After that I was done with Swagbucks…it’s not worth the hassle, aggravation or time anymore.
And it’s definitely not like it used to be!

I am fairly new to Sb. So I do complete the daily goal but do not get the bonus. Is this the way SB works?
If you reach the goal they will give you an additional bonus goal. I think the easiest way to gain swagbucks is to use their shop and earn links for things you already were planning on purchasing. However if you already have an alternative shop and earn site you’d want to compare them to see which gives you the best deal.
You’ll get the bonus the next month, usually within the first week. The points will post as two entries, one for any Winning Streaks you may achieve (7 days in a row = 25 points, 14 days = 100, etc) and one with the total of your daily balances. HTH

I keep seeing this, is it worth it to sign up & the hassle? I do Pinecone Reasearch which Ive earned about $75 from this year. Maybe I don’t know too much about it so I don’t bother lol
I used to do it but found it is not worth it anymore as it gets harder to get bigger bucks and “extravaganzas” aren’t worth the little they give you for all of the work. If you have nothing better to do with your time, then it is worth signing up for! 😉
I’ve been using Pinecone Research since 2007 and Swagbucks since 2008 and it has gotten harder to reach the cash out threshold but it’s still worth it to me. I get $25 every 3 weeks in my PayPal account. If it’s taken you up to now the hit $75 on Pinecone you would’ve gotten that back in the first week of March using Swagbucks. If I try a little harder I could probably cash out every 2 weeks. I don’t really put much effort into it either.
Here’s what I do:
Daily Poll
Daily NOSO
Searches (I get 1 or 2 wins per day doing my normal searches)
Swagcodes (whenever they come out)
Videos – this is where I get the most. If you have a smartphone you can download all the apps for videos (there’s 6 total, for both iPhone and android). I always look through the commercials and save the shortest (some are only 15 seconds) videos to my favorites (they took away this feature on Android) and then just let them play all day (they play automatically). I have an old iPhone that I use just for videos. This alone gets me over 100 Swagbucks per day.
If you add referrals, surveys, printing coupons, and cash back when shopping then you can be making MUCH more.
After all these years with Swagbucks I’ve only gotten 1 referral (and that was back when they capped the earning amount to 1000 Swagbucks, now it’s unlimited) so, if I’ve helped anybody I’d truly appreciate you signing up using my link:
