    Thank you Collin!
I love this detergent! I grew up in Germany and this is what my mom and grandma would use.
It’s so nice to have my laundry smell like “back home”!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are so welcome! 😀

    • Pat

My oma used it too in Germany.

There’s also a WM Ibotta offer for this!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks! Just added it! 😀

This might be a silly question but how does Ibotta work? I see posts on here all the time for this.

Scan the item barcode, submit the receipt, and BAM cash back! Lol. You can cash out to Paypal after you get to $10 (or there are other cash out options as well). There are ways to earn bonus money every month and new rebates all the time. Join me with my link if you want. https://ibotta.com/r/ujblivo

How much is this detergent regularly?
    I haven’t try it yet

    • Diane

I bought the cat litter looking bottle at Walmart. I believe it was around $12. There was also a hanging $2 off coupon so I paid around $10.

here’s a scenario and the $11.97 are the best value!
Buy Persil ProClean Power-Liquid Laundry Detergent 100 oz. for $11.97
Buy Persil ProClean Power-Pearls Laundry Detergent 59 oz. for $11.97
Use two $2/1 Persil ProClean Laundry Detergent Medium Size or Larger Manufacturer Coupons here
Submit for $2 Persil ProClean Power-Liquid Laundry Detergent iBotta Rebate Offer valid on 100 oz. or larger
Submit for $2 Persil ProClean Power-Pearls Laundry Detergent iBotta Rebate Offer valid on any size
Receive $1 iBotta Bonus for submitting both Persil ProClean Laundry Detergent offers
      Total = $11.97 + $11.97 = $23.94 – $2 – $2 = $19.94 – $2 = $17.94 – $2 = $15.94 – $1 = $14.94 (only $7.47 each – pretty sweet for this brand of laundry detergent!)

I have not used this detergent but one of my local news stations ran a consumer reports story that rated this the best cleaning detergent on the market. It comes from Europe and is only being sold in Walmart in America as a test market to see if it is popular enough prior to expanding to other stores.

    • Janet

Actually, they’re also sold at meijer.

  6. Susi

Love this detergent! My husband works outside in the heat, gets filthy, smelly & covered in grease and grime. This stuff gets it ALL out without needing additional boosters, stain releasers or anything else. Great stuff

  7. Tonia

I use the Persil sensitive and absolutely love it! This is hands down, the best detergent I have ever used. Every time I have purchased mine, it had a $2 off coupon attached as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who may be hesitant to try a new detergent!

  8. Kelly

What other deteregent do you recommend? Tide and Gain? What else that is cheaper? And Which do you not recommend?

    • Ketsy

For quality Tide is best. I wait for a good sale where I can get it for $2-$3 for the 28oz and then buy multiples 4-6 until the next sale. I have tried them all… All, Arm & Hammer, Gain, Wisk. Nothing works like Tide. However. Anything you can get for around $2 is a bargain. Just be prepared to use a fabric softener or extra detergent for better wash. 😉

    • Emily

Consumer Reports just released their report and it said that this beats Tide.

Is this a new detergent? Ive recently seen it at meijer. Anyone try it?

    • Diane

I tried the powdered original. I’m not a big fan of the scent or any detergent scent for that matter unless it’s like an essential oil. It actually washed out some blood on my 5 year old’s white shirt (she’s been getting bloody noses) without any pre-treating, just using the detergent. The shirt didn’t even get in the wash until at least a few days. This impressed me. I plan on switching to the sensitive to see it if smells more like nothing.

      • Linda

Thanks for your comment. I have fragrance allergies and get migraines from most detergents. Essential oils are great but forget synthetic fragrances. I smelled this at the store yesterday and actually put some in my cart because I thought my head could handle it. I came to my senses before I checked out and put it back. I didn’t realize there was a sensitive formula. I’ll be on the lookout for it!

    • Pat

Persil isn’t new. It has been around in Europe since the 1800’s but it is new to America. It is in the expensive detergent’s comparable to Tide in Germany.

      • Shopper

Not really new to America, it’s sold in appliance stores that sell European brands. Newer to a mass market store, yes.

No Tide in Europe, Persil is there’s.
