Kmart: Doubling Coupons up to a $2 Value ( = Cheap Tide & Kellogg’s Cereals, Free Garnier + More!)
Kmart shoppers! Through 9/5, Kmart is offering Shop Your Way Rewards Members the chance to double their manufacturer coupons up to a $2 value with a purchase of $25 or more (calculated before coupons) in grocery, household and drugstore merchandise at Kmart. Limit 5 coupons per customer per day and limit 4 purchases of the same item.
Note that if the double coupon value exceeds the value of the item, the double value will automatically be reduced down to the cost of the item so you won’t get overage, but you will get the item free!

Question: So they only double 5 coupons per day but I take it that you’re allowed to use more coupons than 5 but the others won’t double. What about if you have 5 $2 coupons and 3 $1 coupons. Will the $2 coupons double if you hand them those first?
You need to hand them the ones to double first. Then after that, your other coupons, and those will not double. HTH

If only my Kmart’s employees were better able to understand their own policy, this would be worth the effort. Whenever I try to do this coupon doubling offer at Kmart it is a huge time commitment and I come away with only half the stuff I planned to buy because the computer won’t scan or the employee rejects the coupons… It’s too bad. Del Monte fruit cups are $3.09 and some are $2.99 from this week I believe, Use the $1/1 which doubles making it $1 each. Also, check you email, the last few weeks I have been getting surprise points on items I have purchased in the past. You can only use one surprise point per purchase, so you have to buy them in separate transactions. There is also a mail in rebate this week only, $10 rebate when you spend $35 in hanes for mens, women, or kids. The rebate will print at the register from the catalina machine. On Sunday, I also used coupons that were $15 back on a $30 purchase…so I got my order to $50 before coupons, and after coupons, down to $30, got the $15 back in points, and the gas coupon, and had mail in rebates in each transaction…like the clearasil, and zzzquil. I had a $15 back on $40 that I used on the hanes rebate transaction. I ended up paying about $25 oop, after paying with gift cards that I purchased at a discount. And would have been over $150 before coupons, etc. Side note, you will get the gas coupon even when paying with points for a purchase of $50. The amount just has to be $50 before coupons. Keep that in mind.
