I have been working so hard to get rid of toys, my kids and I have become bogged down with stuff and it feels soooooo good!!! Just had to post because it feels SO good and frees my cleaning, organizing time up to Be with my sweet, young children yay!!!!?
We just did the exact same thing. Problem is their birthdays are coming up and everyone always gets them loads of toys. I’m requesting movie tickets and gift cards to craft stores.
Can you save some gifts that the kids don’t want/need to re-gift? I do that, but then again he’s too young to object
We just did something similar recently and switched to a Montessori style play area. It’s so much neater and easier to straighten. My little one doesn’t bounce from toy to toy anymore either like she did when we had all of the loud flashy toys.

My toys r us also has back packs with attached lunch bags for $3.98, after school started. Go figure lol

i wonder what state Jill is in, i called my toys r us and the Little Tikes Cook ‘n Play Outdoor Barbeque is $34, she said corporate sets the price and no matter what state the toys r us is in the item will be the same exact price…

That’s not necessarily true. I’ve been to two stores in the Austin area looking for multiples of the same toy. At one store, it rang up as $14; at the other, it rang up as $8. The prices do vary by store.
I got the grill today in Tulsa for $17.
Also there was another Little Tikes grill that has a very similar name it’s the ‘Cook N Grow BBQ Grill’ and it’s not on sale, make sure they are not confusing the two. Hth
Dang, when I went in on Monday I didn’t see any of this stuff. They took away all the summer stuff already and had a small shelf of it on clearance:/ And Halloween costumes were already put up!

I also ended up picking up some Melissa and Doug peek through puzzles that were posted here the other day that sold out online. $1.98 clearance.. It’s not marked clearance

Bummer. I went just for the bbq set and my store in Northern California had it for $29.98. Bought it anyways because it was still a good deal!
Awesome! The kiddie pools make for great sunken veggie garden containers, for smaller crops and herbs, in the spring. I also use one to keep my guinea pig in while cleaning out his cage. Thanks, Collin!

I was able to get the John Deere 15 inch Big Scoop 2-Pack Set for only $4.90 in the $5.00 bin at TRUS and it currently costs $24.99 on the the John Deer site https://www.johndeeregifts.com/product/john+deere+15+inch+big+scoop+2-pack+set.do

I went this morning, Amazing clearance is my weakness. spent only 43$ though, got a bunch of items for operation Christmas child!! And I did all this with a 2 yr old boy 😉 thanks Collin! A nice lady said she had just gotten done marking items %80 off this morning.
I stopped by my store in coastal NC today. I found Little Tikes Backyard Barbecue Grillin’ Goodies (play food) marked down to $2.98 from $14.99! I also could Colormax kites for $.98 (reg $9.99), and Wham-O Glow in the Dark outdoor games (trac ball, skee ball and hacky sack blast) for $2.98 – $3.28, normally up to $29.99! The other clearance did not seem too marked down just yet.
To all those who were able to get the Little Tikes Cook n Play Outdoor BBQ, please check the parts. We were trying to assemble ours and the grill top does not fit. It turns out its the wrong part. Had to call the customer service for a replacement of the grill top.
