Does anyone have long term exp with this one? I’ve gone through 3 hps in less than 3 years. Vowed I’d never go back but such a good deal.

I have had this printer for 2 months now. It is great! I have already put 3 reams of paper through it too.. Oh and it qualifies for the HP Ink Program also. We bought it for a little less than the price (but didn’t get the gift card).. I did get 3 months of free HP Ink Program (which was $9.99/month for the service that I chose)… But, I got it at Staples and they price matched Amazon…

How is it with printing photos?

    • Carrie S.

How is the feeder? Can it do front and back scans through the feeder without having to reload the items being scanned? Can it print front and back without having to reload the paper?

      • rarasnake

Printing photos is just like any other inkjet. Not photo lab quality but does pass on a document (I worked in photo labs for years, so I am a snob when it comes to quality).. The feeder only does front or back for scanning pages. You can print front to back though, you just have to change the setting and it has an extra tray to feed the paper into to flip it..

So this Office Depot deal is really good.

Anybody know any laser printer dealer? (:

  3. Carrie S.

How much is ink for this? HP ink prices are a killer!

  4. Melissa

I took advantage of this deal and linked through my discover account for an addition 5% cash back. Can’t go wrong at this price.

It is a great price but you will be in the hole with ink refills price. I sooooo recommend toner. I have both Canon and Brother, bought them during after Xmas specials, and still haven’t bought toner. I am using the toner starter packs they came with. If you print coupons, toner is a no brainer.

    • Lana

      Which canon do you have?

    • Jaime

Do u know which models u have. Where did u purchase and about how much. Thx

    • A

I couldn’t agree more! I ditched my almost new hp because I couldn’t take the crazy ink cost anymore (and it used color even to print in b&w so I was stressing over the cost of every coupon). I bought a brother laser printer and have printed my coupons with abandon. Still have not even used up the starter toner that came with it. I love that thing!

    • Carrie

Please do share what printer you have! I am so sick of paying $50 something dollars for all the colors! 🙂

      Thanks Daniela!

I don’t have this identical printer, however I have an hp printer and I feel like it has had many problems. For some reason my hp printer never will stay connected on the wi fi and I have to reinstall the software each and everytime I want to print something even if it is just a single coupon, I’m considering purchasing a different printer brand all together. Thought I share my opinion in regards to this brand, does anyone else feel the same or am I just technology illiterate ?

    • Shopper

We have had HP for many years and they last. Don’t have any issues, doesn’t lose connection either. We use them from work to coupons.

You may have a stability patch available. Can get to via the support pages (of hp’s website) for your model and/or the hp software, if on windows under all programs.

    • Jill

We have the 8600 model and have had the same issue of the printer not staying connected to the wifi. Sometimes it will work fine for weeks at a time and then other times you have to uninstall & reinstall once a week or more. Frustrating. Other than that we really like the quality of the print jobs and different functions available on the unit. To avoid the high HP ink prices we buy through compandsave.com. Haven’t had any issues using their ink.

Stacking more discounts to add to this deal..
If you are not a shopyourway member, there is a deal right now, when you sign up, you get $10 back in points when you make a reward partner purchase of $30 or more. Try using this link to sign up, if it doesn’t work, email me at rachelann1183@gmail.com, and I will invite you to the deal.

If you buy a office max gift card on raise.com, you would also save 6% on your gift card purchase, saving about another $5. If you havent used Raise.com yet, use this link to sign up and save $5 off your first order https://geta.raise.com/rpyszczyn , if they don’t send you a code via email for the $5 off, use this code (for new members only $5 off $50 code: FALL5 ), also, save another 2% with cash back from topcashback.com, when buying your gift card on raise.com. Use this link to sign up for topcashback, and get $10 back from topcashback https://www.topcashback.com/ref/rachelc1399

Stacking the 2% back for buying the gc on top cashback, 6% giftcard discount on raise plus $5 off your first purchase, $10 from topcash back and the $10 from shopyourway, you will end up saving… $85.99-$30 gc-$10 topcashback-$10 shopyourway, -2% & 6% (approx $6.48), -$5 off gc new raise member, saving up to $51.48 … bringing your total down
84.99-61.48= 22.51…add about $5 for tax, so you will pay approx $27.51 oop for this printer!!!!!

WHEW!!! Thats a day in my brain…lol.
    Happy saving!!
