JoAnn Fabric: Tip from reader Erica – “I just recently learned that multiple coupons can be used in a single transaction at JoAnn Fabric Stores. This is possible as long as the last 3 digits under the coupons barcode are all different. I used a coupon from the JoAnn website, a coupon they sent me in an email, a coupon I received by snail mail from JoAnn’s and a coupon in the JoAnn app. It’s also possible to receive coupons by text message. I find this really helps to rack up savings on items that would make great gifts for the upcoming holiday season.”

Petco: Tip from Emily – “I was at Petco browsing with my dog who wandered into the cat aisles. There, I saw a tear pad for a free litter genie with mail-in-rebate. It was good up to $22.99, which was the price on the shelf. After rebate, I will have only paid tax. I am giving it to my Mom for her cat. The fine print says that it is only good on Petco purchases and on the before-tax price. It must be postmarked by September 30th“

Staples: Tip from reader jmfromOh – “You might want to let the others know of an email from Staples with a $100 off coupon code for any PC on clearance worth $199 or more. The price could be half off depending on the computer!”

Kmart: Tip from reader Lee – “I received an email from Kmart with a $5 gift for a purchase I made a few weeks ago. Did not expect this so if you made a purchase lately check your email.”

Shopko: Tip from reader Sarah – “I went to my local Shopko today and scored a Dyson multi floor vacuum for $64.99!! WOOT WOOT! Original  $649.99! Now that is a HIP deal!”

Zak Designs Recall: Zak Designs has issued a recall on their 26 oz Zak Water Bottles. The water bottles were sold exclusively at Target stores in a “Back-to-College” promotion from June 2015 through July 2015 and sold for $10 each. Go here for details.
