Thank you, thank you!! If it wasn’t for your reminders, I would never register and my kids go to those so faithfully!! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay! You’re welcome! 😀

Hi Collin! Just wanted to share our experience with these clinics, we go to both the Lowes and Home Depot clinics for our kids and love them! My children are very young so usually my husband and I are putting together the whole kit but the kids love it and they get a snack and juice at each store. At Lowes they make tables out of plywood and we stand at them and at our Home Depot there are plywood tables and buckets for seats. Great Saturday morning freebie to do!

    • Kim

What a world of difference! We love ours too but both out Lowe’s and home depot have actual tables, folding chairs and home depot even has the kids club paint and they give brushes at check in. No snacks or juice though.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the feedback! 🙂

Argh. My son plays tball Saturday mornings.

  7. M&M

This is the hardest program to get into near my area. The classes are always full!! Urrrgh.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer 🙁 Hopefully you are able to get into one soon!

    • Melanie

I had that problem at ours with the avengers clinic. I found that it opened up a few hours before midnight on the day you could register so I would watch for the registration to open the night before. If your clinic fills up fast like ours, that’s an idea to help you get registered

We did the fire truck one too and it was also our first time. My little one has not stopped playing with his and his sister’s fire trucks since we left the store!

This says recommended for kids over 5. My son is a little sort of 5 in everyone else’s experience with these work shops would you say it would be ok to sign him up?

    • Michelle

My husband took our two boys to the fire truck one at Lowe’s this past Saturday. My oldest was a few days shy of 5 and my other son will be 3 soon. I wasn’t quite sure either about the age but there was no problem and they both were very into it!

    • Just Me

Yes! My nephew is 3 and he does them. Be prepared to help build it but I say that at any age.

      • Carrie S

Thanks ladies, I signed him up. he will love this 🙂

    • Vivian

absolutely, my son was 2 when he started going

  10. Gina

I am SO excited; I finally got a slot for my near 3yr old daughter! Thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! YW 😀

  11. Nora-Lee

How long do these projects usually last?

    • JenniferS

Plan on being there for a hour for one child that you’re having them do majority of the hammering etc of the project. If you will have more children with you plan on more time to be there and an additional parent or adult would be a big help. Enjoy your time!!

  12. marilyn

Ugh, the one in my area is already filled. Are they waiting on the computer to sign up? Does anyone know when they open up signups?

    • Nghe

Usually there are plenty of stuff. You just have to show up with kids on that day, fill-out kids’ name on a sheet of paper at the table then they give you craft to build. I signed up one time only and it ran out spot very fast. So I just stop by whenever they have event and have no problem with that. Hope that help.

      • marilyn

        Yes, it does, thank you.

    • Lori

If you check the Lowe’s Build and Grow site regularly, it will list upcoming clinics and when registration opens up for each clinic. With Lowe’s, registration is always on Mondays and I do believe it begins at midnight, not sure what time zone that is. I know with the more popular clinics (like the Avengers series this summer) it would be full in my area by 9 a.m. on the first day of sign-up. It’s very likely people sign-up at midnight.

      • marilyn

        wow, midnight!

      • Melanie

I believe it is eastern time because I live in mountain time and was able to register about 10:00 the night before it opened.

    • Melanie

They will hold the kits for the registrants for about 30 minutes after the clinic starts. If there are leftovers, they will hand them out to anyone that wants them, just have to wait around to see if there are leftovers. (At least that’s what my clinic did in Utah.)

Thanks for the Home Depot info Courtney
I just signed up for both!

  14. Iris Marino

    Thanks so much

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)
