Target: Possible FREE Reusable Bag with Samples

At Target today I received a free reusable shopping bag at checkout. It was not only a nice free bag, but also had free samples and coupons! There was a men and women razor, buy one get one Chipotle coupons, full-size Red Bull, Nivea lotion, and Truvia coupons just to name a few. The bags were just sitting there at each register and I asked to buy one to be “green” and the cashier said oh there free!
Anyone else spot these free bags at their local Target? Let us know in the comments!

I was at Target today around lunchtime (Chesapeake, VA) and was checking out at customer service and they didn’t have them but maybe they did at the registers??? I have to admit, I’m a little jealous of the buy one get one Chipolte coupon! 🙂 It’s one of my favorite places! Enjoy your awesome freebie!

I’m in IL. The store was right outside of Chicago.
There weren’t any at customer service when I went. There were about 5 at each register by the bagging area.

I saw something on Targets fb saying that starting Sunday, red card holders get a free reusable bag as a thank you:) it didn’t say it came with free samples, that would be a nice bonus!

I was just in ours last night (Lake Charles, LA) and they had no idea what I was talking about, lol. Even showed them Collin’s earlier post, and they acted like I was trying to mess with them (eyeroll).
I am a target red card holder, when you go to their site it states starting 10/4 in stores while last. I’m going first thing tomorrow. Just Bring your Red Card

I got curious and called customer service at my targets here in Virginia and they said there is no such offer in any of the stores here so maybe perhaps it is regional

I took a screenshot the other day of a Facebook ad from Target saying they’d be giving away free reusable bags to redcard holders. It said to stop by guest services to get it.
I received these same bags with samples a month ago on college night. They do this event every year at select stores nationwide right before school starts. It was probably left overs from that event.

I found some really cute shoes on clearance for $7.48 and cw worked! Pd $5! I asked about free tote and cashier gave me one of the plaid totes. So cute 🙂

Was at Target today, no bags today.
Asked Cust Svs and the free bags starting tomorrow are not the same ones that are described in this post (I.E. the ones with samples). They are strictly a reusable target tote. ‘Just figured I’d mention this since some of the posters above may possibly be getting the two confused 🙂

My VA Target had the red plaid re-useable bags available for Target red card holders two days ago. They are cute. I think they would be nice to put gifts in at Christmas.

I have gone to every event and multiple stores in NJ whenever an event or freebie bag giveaway is going on and have never got one! It would be such a treat to finally score one of these!
This looks like the branding for the events they’d have at the beginning of the school year in State College, PA. So my guess is it’s from that event.

Just got a free bag from my Target in Nashville. No samples, though. Minor bummer.
My target didn’t get theirs in! So bummed, dragged my two little ones out first thing to get a free bag. I did get the BOGO costumes though!

When I called my local Target in NW Nashua, NH, they said they hadn’t, and weren’t expecting to, receive any of the plaid bags with samples. Bummer! I’m just glad I called first!

Which Chicago store?? The one on Peterson gave me a plain bag and said the red plaid ones hadn’t come in yet.
The Clifton Park store did not have the bags so the man in customer service handed me a $3 coupon good on anything in the store with no expiration date! Plus he said to check back later in the week in case they did get a shipment of the tote bags.
Arrived at 8am and got my red plaid bag! I didn’t even have to show my Redcard, but it’s probably because I’m always there. They know! Tulare, CA

I happened to see a sign when I walked into a Target store in Louisiana (not where I live) today. I showed my RedCard at customer service and received the cute red/black plaid reusable tote. I also got four kids costumes for the price of two. Thanks, Collin!
The giveaway bags are handed out during “Back to College Nights”, so stores had some leftover and they handed them out to regular guests. In Pa. our college night was in early September and students were bused to Target. So if any Target had leftovers, then you scored.
Today (10/5) in Wheeling, IL I received a free reusable bag (red with plaid design) for checking out and using my REDCard to pay. The cashier said it was a new offer through October (or while supplies last). Just a free bag, no coupons or samples, but hey, free bag and Target gives a $0.05 rebate for every reusable bag used a checkout!
I received a bag yesterday in Harmar, PA. However, there were no samples or coupons in it. Only a note to say thanks for being a Target REDcard holder…
