I was wondering how long paying for a membership would last considering Amazon is free
I just placed an order today because my husband goes through 2 chapticks a month and i like to buy in bulk. Jet was cheaper then amazon by $5. It’s great having another option to shop with now. I find Jet shipping slower but only cause they use FEDEX and they suck in my area not Jet’s fault.

I ordered a toy for my son from jet.com for $42 that I found other places in the $80-$120 range. It was a real bargain on jet.com, free fast shipping and the toy arrived in perfect condition! I was very happy with my jet.com purchase.

If you used a code for a free 1 year membership when they first launched, that membership will be converted to free shipping no minimum for the remaining time by Oct 15th (this was written at the bottom of the email I received about free membership for everyone)

Those of us without credit cards have to depend on using gift cards bought at the store or earned through swagbucks to do Amazon. If Jet would get on board with those options the sky would be the limit for them! Otherwise, some of us can’t shop there. Also, just to throw this out there re Amazon, they won’t accept a gift card or prepaid cc to pay for prime. There are lots of us who would go for it if we could.
I got awesome deals on kids’ books when they first launched, but then I noticed most of their discounts dropped significantly after they were no longer allowed to post Amazon comparisons, which is why I’m guessing they have dropped their membership fees.
Remember how they claimed their earnings were coming 100% from membership fees? This kinda makes them look like liar liar pants on fire.

Is the fee dropping temporary? Also, they charge shipping. Amazon looses on shipping and returns. Whatever works? Amazon also tried to be on ebay awhile back, which did not work out for them.

CHECK EXPIRATION DATES- If you purchase perishable items, i suggest checking the expiration dates. I order a few things that when they arrived were within a few months of expiring. The most recent was 2 huge/bulk jars of smuckers natural peanut butter. they both expire in less than 3 months. When you buy on the shelf in a physical store, it is like a year or more. I called customer service and they were nice about offering a refund and claimed they would check with their distributor on offering longer time.
… I wasn’t out for a refund. They offered it themselves. I was just letting them know, as a new company, people might not be happy if they buy in bulk and get short expiration dates, so that was really generous of them.

I had a great first experience! I found Oscar Blandi Hair Lift Mousse (retails at other places from $13 to $23 dollars and I got them for $5.00 dollars a piece…The mousse was the real deal- original product and packaged well!!!! Some of the other items I compared were only a dollar less than other retail stores..Just do your research!
I already made several orders and love it 🙂 They have great prices and ship the very next day. Expiration dates are till 2016/2017 depending of the product. I used giltcity deal and got k cups 80 pack for $15 out of pocket 🙂

I just placed a couple of orders with them using the gilt city voucher and everything was packaged really well. Most of the items shipped quickly, but some took a little longer. I wasn’t in a hurry for anything though. I ended up getting 6 large refills of Method hand soap, 2 Method hand soap pumps, a 12 pack of Bounty paper towels, 4 Febreze air freshener refills, and a large bottle of Tide for $33 out of pocket. Can’t beat that!
