*HIP Tip from reader Linda – “Be on the lookout for Try Me Free peelies found on bottles of OxiClean. I found them in my local Minyards grocery store. Good for a 60oz, 40oz or 45oz OxiClean, with a refund up to $8, valid through 12/31/2016.”
Can anyone give a review of OxiClean? Thanks.
Seems to work fine for lightly soiled clothes for me. I do not like the smell though. I got a free (after rebate) bottle, and have decided just to put a little in with my other detergent to use it up. I even prefer the smell of Clorox to OxiClean detergent.
I have been using it for quite awhile because coupons abound and think it does a fine job. I have to admit I usually use Arm & Hammer and bought some Kirkland detergent from Costco two months ago. I haven’t noticed an appreciable difference between any of them. They are all ok, and I do use OxiClean (powder not detergent) as an additive when I have really tough stains. But I will add, there are no children in my household, so our stains are really run of the mill. At $1.99, it’s $0.08 a load, which is a good deal for me. I actually bought 4 bottles yesterday at RiteAid.
